Disappointed with the white vanity.Anonymous reviewerI purchased many Hemnes products before. One of the things that appeals to me is their pine construction. I recently purchased the gray colored vanity in this same size and slightly modified it. This was a breeze because it's made of wood. It is the same quality I've come to expect from this line of furniture. I was very surprised to discover that the white colored vanity is made of melamine. I've had IKEA melamine in my bathroom before. It doesn't hold up to moisture well. In larger Hemnes vanity sizes the white color is solid pine. Disappointed IKEA cheaped out here. Now I'll have to drive four hours round trip to return this and get another color. Also disappointed that it's not well advertised that materials change so much across a single product line. I hope IKEA considers that in the future.1
