Appearances Can Be DeceivingNathanielPositives: visual match for our Hemnes dresser and the height works well for a tall bed. Overall, it does feel solid, and the bits of real wood are the biggest selling point.
Negatives: hardware does not match illustrations in manual; some holes drilled slightly too small for threaded posts; drawer slides are rattly, do not operate smoothly, and do not feel as nice to use as the ones in the Hemnes dresser; and back piece weighs A TON (why???). I suppose the heavy backboard helps with tipover stability in the forward direction, but it is the heaviest part of the entire unit.
Love the Hemnes seriesEloI have collected most of the pieces in this collection and I am sad to see it being discontinued- great furniture and easy to put together- loved the dark grey finish.
Disappointed with drawersAmberWe have the entire bedroom set in the Hemnes family. We have the taller chest that has 5 drawers and assumed this would be the same with just 3 drawers, but it’s not. We returned it because it was not useable space. The drawers do not open all the way due to the track being too short.

Nice looking but odd designChristinaI ultimately returned these. They look great but the design is odd. The sides and back of this small dresser are so thick and heavy - seriously 1.5 inches thick - and there is not that much room in the drawers. It was a bit of a pain to assemble. These are solid and nice looking, but were not super functional for me.
Night StandsHelenaI got the whole set with dresser also; it took all my kids (6) to put together for me. Was not an easier job but was fun to have all my kids around so made it worth it. I have very handy people putting this together and it was difficult, wish the instruction were clearer. I do have a problem with the top drawer on one nightstand, it is hard to open and close, but works and is very sturdy and i love my set.
Need the glass for the top, but you don't seem to sell the size I need for this 3-draw nightstand.

Not great quality I wouldn't buy againMichelleThis required a lot of extra work to get the drawers to slide in and out properly. Youtube had some ideas to help. Definitely lower quality than the Hemnes dresser I bought when this line first came out. Looks good though.
Surprisingly disappointingEmilyHardware arrived damaged right out of the box. No matter what I do, the drawers become stuck and will not slide on rails. Screw housing for the top took multiple tries to macguyver. I’ve assembled a lot of Ikea pieces so I am not an amateur; this one just sucks. I do not live close to an Ikea and now will have to figure out a way to return it. Did you know you need to disassemble if you want them to come pick up? Otherwise you must take it back in person. This piece is very heavy for its size and will cause additional inconvenience and cost to return either way. Absolutely terrible.

Nice qualityMaryFor the cost this was the best choice for height and three larger drawers. The box wasn't too heavy and the instructions weren't too complicated. I was worried about the sliding drawers but it turned out perfect compared to other companies instructions. The knobs and drawers are sturdy. My topper was missing a metal pin so it doesn't sit flat and that is upsetting. The bottom of the drawers seem a bit flimsy but a little DIY can make them more sturdy. The height is what influenced me to purchase because the others were too short. It looks so nice in my room.
Hemnes 3-drawer ChestDeborahI love this line, I have the gray large 3 drawer chest also. It is sturdy and attractive. I use them in my office to store supplies. I only have two things that I felt was a problem though does not effect me buying this product again. The instructions could use a little more explanation. And the drawers do not fully pull out.

I have put together many pieces from IKEA and this one was among the most difficult due to the difference in length of the dowl pins and the holes they inserted into. I had to cut the dowl pins to fit as they were too long for the hole.
SolidMatthewThese nightstands are not the cheapest by far. But I have to say that I'm very impressed with the quality of the material, and the weight. These things are heavy. Very solid. And a perfectly match all the other furniture pieces in this line. I have purchased two dressers and two nightstands and they all match. Still the same old poor directions. But this wasn't very difficult at all to put together.
