I will have to return them. I really like this line of products and have used them in different configurations over the years - a shame that I can't improve the functionality of my old shelf, unless I build my own shelves.

Shelves got smaller!PatriciaI bought these to add to an existing walk in pantry I was updating. To my dismay these shelves were not as deep as the old ones. Luckily they still fit with the supports and honestly, the new size fit better one wall. So, with a little juggling I rearranged all the shelves. I wish there was a better way to change the height of a shelf without accessing it from the back. Once you choose a height and load it, it’s a big job to change it up.

Hejne ShelvesErikaThe shelves went together pretty easily which was nice. They are a little wobbly though. Ikea did not send us the cross bars that go on the back to help stabilize it. It has been two weeks and we have still not received them
shelf for shelving unitJoelleThe design seems to have a flaw. The two boards on the outside sides do not go to the edge. They are inset. Yet the HEJNE posts are predrilled with two holes side by side. The shelf design only allows you to attach to the posts via 1 screw, which isn't very sturdy. If the outer boards went to the edge and had another hole drilled, you could use both holes in the posts and have a sturdy shelving unit. As it is, it has to come with steel rod cross pieces that attach to the back to prevent it from collapsing on itself.

pantry and laundryGuroli got one for laundry and another one for pantry. I had to customized for pantry because of limited space. I wasn't able to build inside of pantry closet and same not able to built outside and put in. but install with different custom style. fits perfect. Love them both worth for trip two times to go to Ikea which is 200 miles. and price is really good too. highly recommended.

Used and currently use these shelving systems often over the years. Always cheap and always easy to make them work, as the sizes are adjustable. Easy to assemble if you use a cordless drill and screws (saves on cranking the allen key)
