Great farmhouse sinkJohnWe have had ours 5 years now. Looks like new. We use a lot of cast iron so being careful is a must. Also I see a lot of reviews that state that theirs cracked. Keep in mind if you are installing a garbage disposal, you must use a better, anti vibration disposal to avoid the sink from cracking.5
It’s beautiful CarolThe price was excellent and it is a big sturdy sink. 5
6 years and goodRobininstalled our Havsen single bowl in 2018; going strong, though it's gotten some very small chips, so it's looking a little more "farmhouse" than it did when shiny and new. If you use cast iron, be super conscientious cleaning it in this sink, which is just common sense 4
Horrible! Sink cracked after 6 months of useRyanLike a few of these reviews I have had the same problem. Sink looks great installed but after a few months you’ll get a big crack at the bottom! Which is a huge pain to repair because you can’t, since it’s a sink and of course needs to be sealed so water doesn’t leak. The only solution is to install a complete new one which is not an easy task.
We aren’t rough with the sink at all. We don’t drop plates, pots, etc. Into it that would cause it to crack. I’m not sure why it would crack….? Just bad quality I suppose.1
Not what I had hopedCarrieAbout to get our third sink, after the first two cracked from normal use. It would help if I could find a sink guard for it, but none seem to fit quite right. The bottom isn’t quite sloped enough to drain water well, either. It puddles in the corners despite being level. I am considering tearing out the whole section and starting over with a different sink. It looks nice when it’s new, though, and is really deep and spacious.2
3rd times the charmAnonymous reviewerLooks great but be aware they are inconsistent. Our countertop installer damaged the first one, the replacement was slightly bigger so they had to make our countertop opening bigger. The replacement wasn’t quite level so we are on to the third one. Which looks great and it was the perfect size for our basement kitchenette. 4
Love my IKEA kitchen but sadly disappointed in this sink.CourtneyLove this sink so much but after having it installed for only 1 year, a large portion of the front right side corner has become dangerously cracked. Have had 2 accidental cuts on the hand occur from it. There hadn't been any kind of hard impact to the sink leading up to this and it's held up very well to normal wear and tear up to this point. Very disappointed and now trying to find information about the 25 year limited warranty in hopes we won't have to buy the same sink only one year later. 2
Cracked sink!TLess than two years into it the sink cracked badly from a light impact.2

Sink is beautiful but cracked within a monthAlexandraThis sink is lovely, but within a month of use, it cracked all the way through the base (where the flare meets the base). It doesn’t seem to be covered by warranty, and we had to custom cut our countertop to fit, so very nervous that even if we purchase a replacement, this will happen again and then we’re stuck with replacing the whole countertop.1
Love the size and the lookSusanThis sink came in my Tiny house on wheels. I am very happy with it. I do not have a dishwasher and this sink is big enough to put a wash bin in it and still have space to rinse dishes off. I like the sloping front, is easier to spray down. It looks really nice and a lot of folks comment how nice it is.5
not recommendArtemthe previous model that had an opening for a faucet and was going all the way back to the wall was so much better. I would not recommend to anyone to buy kitchen from IKEA because they discontinue products, just like the previous sink, and then other sinks don't fit. To fix the back side of the marble countertop cost me a lot of money and time, but now it collects water. So frustrating!1
The kitchen sink.JoanEveryone visiting comments on my new sink. It’s beautiful and the perfect size.5
Everything I was looking for at a great price!AnonymousI’ve had this sink for a month now and I love it! I would recommend buying a protector for the bottom, there’s bound to be someone dropping a dish a little too high. I’m 5’4” and my husband is 6’2”, we both can do dishes with no back issues of the sink being too deep. I’ve had no markings occur and the plumbing was no big deal for my handyman. I read another comment regarding water getting up around the faucet base, I haven’t had this problem at all, I installed my faucet 2” from the edge of my sink. If you’re on the fence with this sink, go for it, it’s a great investment & be sure to buy a farmhouse sink guard for the bottom.5
Beautiful sinkAnonymousDon’t know what jimmy is talking about. He must have a leaky faucet or poor installation I’ve had my sink for two months no problems no water puddling behind the sink or anywhere else. Looks great. I’ve gotten many compliments.5
Horrible DesignAnonymousWithout the sink going back to wall there is ALWAYS a puddle of water around the faucet. Previous model was great it did extent back had hole for faucet.1
Beautiful sink!AnonymousI just installed this sink, and I'm really happy with it. I actually prefer this version without holes, as it allows you to use whatever configuration of faucet you prefer. I'm not sure why other reviewers say this sink is too shallow, it's a standard depth (actually, it's an inch deeper than the double basin metal sink I had previously). Yes, water does sometimes splash out, but it's not much and that happens with every sink. Every other white apron sink I looked at was at least 2-3x the cost...this is a great deal and worth the minor flaws.5
Nice sink but minor issuesAnonymous reviewerWhen paired with the Gamlesjon Dual Control faucet there are two minor issues. First of all the sink is hard to rinse out without a hand sprayer. The second problem is the amount of water that splashes out of the sink and onto the countertop.2
Not as good as the previous modelCarrieThis sink still looked nice for a small farmhouse sink but the previous model that went to the back wall and had the fixtures in it was so much better. I planned for that and when went to purchase they had discontinued that week and I was forced to get this one due to lack of other options. It honestly made my countertops cost $500 more!!!!!! You have to pay for the counter that goes behind the sink unlike the other model, and $300 to cut a sink hole! What a budget buster :(1
Perfect size for small space and within our budgetAleWe are renovating our small kitchen and although I wish the sink was larger, this sink does a great job of tying in our look with the size. Was also a great price!5
