The sink does not reach all the way to the back of the worktop, which allows you to install a kitchen mixer tap and add other sink accessories as you like.

An apron front sink allows you to stand closer to the bowl without needing to lean forward when you wash dishes, which may feel more comfortable for your back.

Nice Design, Poor ManufactureEliotThis SHOULD be a great sink. IKEA is less expensive, but not cheap. Items are well made - maybe not bomb-proof but well engineered. This sink ... is not well made. I've now gone through two of them in the last 28 months as they've cracked -- apparently spontaneously and without a dropped pan, etc (which they should resist anyway)1
Terrible poor quality ietmAnonymousI bought this 3 months ago, Two days ago It developed 2 large cracks at the bottom. IKEA will only refund cost of the sink. They dont care about cost oif removal and reistallation1
Looks SmallAnonymous reviewerI recently traveled to an Ikea (6 hour drive) just to view this sink in person as I was very upset with the discontinue of the DOMSJO sink line. This sink is only slightly smaller in bowl size then the DOMSJO (only by a half inch or so in width) but it looks SO much smaller. Most of my family has the DOMSJO installed in their kitchens and the new HAVSEN looks so different visually. I don't think I will be buying it because the proportions are so off. While I do want a budget sink I also want my kitchen to look good. Sad day for me.1
Beautiful sink, but!AnonymousI don't like the idea that the faucet has to be installed through the counter on the back rather through the actual sink. Every time you turn the faucet on or turn it off if it gets wet on the countertop rather than on the sink which would automatically drain into the strainer2
BeautifulMarisaBeautiful sink all around. Had to bevel the countertop edge a little to get it to fully rest on the counter without wiggle. Only tiny thing I wish is that the apron front would hang just tiny bit lower bc there is the smallest gap between the sink bottom and top of cabinet door that can’t be fixed with the cover panel. Or make the apron extra long so a cover panel isn’t necessary, so like an extra 4 inches or so. I also wish the middle sink divide was slightly lower so that water didn’t get on it and slip to back of sink or out your clothes.4
