Wood Split ImmediatelyHeatherAs I was assembling the nightstand, the wood split immediately on step 7 despite my following the directions. My guess is that the holes needed a better boring. I fear this piece won’t have the longevity for which I hoped.
Works for our daughter's room!WhitneyThis is a nice nightstand. Reasons for 4 stars rather than 5: I can't get the drawer level no matter what I do based on the holes that were predrilled into the boards, and I don't want to make new holes due to the risk of ruining the whole piece. I do also wish there was a hole in the top of the backstop (going to call it that...) for cords for a lamp and alarm clock , etc. rather than having to drape cords over the top of it. Otherwise, does the trick.
Sturdy and Cute MakaylaI love that this matches my other furniture from the Hauga line. All the Hauga items have a similar look. This nightstand is sturdy and I like that theres a cubby underneath the drawer for more storage.

I love the color and how solid it is. It is simple and helps with keeping things organized in a small space. I ordered two fitted plexiglass tops for them to keep the top cleaned. The drawer is a perfect size to keep small and simple items at your fingertips. It is also the perfect height next to my recliner. It looks classy, sturdy, and is very functional. My husband had no problems assembling them. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who needed something simple, for a small space, well made nightstand (or in my case: end table).

Bedside cabinet DianeGreat piece - I added a bedside lamp and small trash container on the bottom shelf; drawer holds my glasses and reading book.
Drawer does not close snugglyLoriI bought this to use as a night stand and I was hoping to keep my current book and a few other items in the drawer, but because the drawer does not close right, (it sticks out) I am not able too put much in there because it is to heavy and already does not slide as it should when trying to close the drawer. Not very happy!

Material
What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
