Product details
Our safety feature Anchor and unlock enhances the safety of your chest of drawers by significantly reducing, but not completely eliminating, the tip-over risk.
The safety feature means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to the wall in order to open more than one drawer at a time, which creates a safer environment at home.
By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.
In the GULLABERG series there is furniture for various storage needs, all in a robust-traditional design that helps you create a practical, organized and uniform home to enjoy for a long time.
This tall chest of drawers has 8 smooth-running drawers that make it easy to organize your things.
High tapered legs create a light and airy expression – and make it easier for you to vacuum under your chest of drawers.
Wooden knobs enhance the genuine and traditional look.
You can use the top for display and add a glass top to protect the surface.
The GULLABERG series comprises of chest of drawers, bedside tables and PAX doors with carefully designed functions and a beautiful traditional style. Complete with a bed in the same style, for example STJÄRNÖ.
Your home should be a safe place for the entire family. That’s why a wall-anchoring kit is included for you to anchor your chest of drawers to the wall.
Designed to meet the US Federal Stability Standard
Before the chest of drawers is anchored to the wall, only one drawer can be opened at a time.

Reviews
Just got this a day agoTracyI’ve put together a lot of ikea furniture in the past, but not in at least 10 years. This piece, if you pick it up yourself, comes in three boxes- just something to keep in mind, and you might need help loading it up.
Putting it together took me just at 6 hours (99% of the directions were very clear), totally by myself, but included a quick meal and bathroom breaks…as well as chasing down a screwdriver, a level, and a mallet at one point, and also emptying boxes and reviewing the instructions before starting the build. It unfortunately also includes one accidental screw-up that had to be undone, so I had to backtrack a good six steps…it was totally my fault though. There was also one pre-drilled screw hole that apparently did not go deep enough and caused a small split in the wood, luckily in a concealed spot.
It looks great, drawers open and close beautifully, and I especially love the built in design that looks like a drawer liner on the bottom of the drawers. Great purchase!5
Tall chestSandraI brought two of these chests because moved and have small closet space put them side by side and mirror above love the look. We’re fairly easy to assemble once you got the hang of it. They are solid and seem like will last time will tell5
Chest of drawers KellyThis is a great chest of drawers. It holds plenty of clothes and I like the smaller drawers. It allows for more separation. I found it very straightforward to put together as the directions were very clear. 5
Nice product, but 3-hours to build PatLooks and works well with unexpected safety features (e.g., only one drawer at a time can be open to help prevent tip-over). Personally felt the original smallish, painted knobs weren't the best look and replaced them with larger brushed nickel knobs ($16 from big-box hardware store). I built two of these and for the second one, even though I was completely familiar with the assembly steps and worked as fast as I could, it still took every bit of 3-hours to complete. For the less handy, paying the $85 assembly charge may be a better choice than DIY.5
Great nursery dresserSaskiaThis dresser took quite long to put together but now that it is built, it looks amazing in our nursery. Love the many drawers; great for organization. The gray color is nice and subtle, and affixing it to the wall as surprisingly easy. 5
