Amazing back supportJoshuamany chairs athat ive owned didnt have good back support for sitting long hours but this one is by far the best. The chair itsleft is rather firm/hard due to there not being a cushion but becaus of that the chair never gets worn out like others ive had. My one and only complain is that the wheels have this lock feature that prevents the chair from rolling if there isnt someone sitting on the chair or pushing down on the chair. Im not sure why they went with that design but thats the only annoying part because moving the chair while not sitting in it is a pain. other that that this is by far the best gaming chair/office chair ive owned. It is very back support friendly wich is a huge plus in my eyes.

Surprisingly goodKyleGreat looking chair and quite comfortable. More on the firm side, but that's how an office chair should be. Can sit in it for hours without hurting my tailbone.
The armrests could use some padding, but it works. The headrest and back wobble a bit when the chair moves, feels flimsy, but it's what I would expect for the price.
The seat padding is dense, and if you push down, you can't feel any hardness, unlike a lot of other chairs.

Good chair bad meachanismRafaelChair is comfortable and sits well but the reclining mechanism pops out of gear or slot that keeps it at the desired angle. I'll be sitting there comfortable and then pops out and if I sit up the back will spring back to most upright position. Very disappointing for a good chair otherwise.
Excellent for Large Rear EndAnonymous reviewerI'm tall and plump, and this chair is very comfortable in hip room. I can sit in any position without my hips/thighs touching the frame - and for anyone with a big bottom, you know this is nearly impossible to find. As far as the movement/defects that others reference in their comments, perhaps they assembled it wrong or don't realize how to use the adjustments. Looks great after 6 months of use at my home office.

1) Simple and not too much padding. If you are looking for a very sot memory foam type comfort? Look elsewhere. I sit 6-8 hours in a day on this chair and I have no complaints.
2) Ergonomic and conforms to the body, albeit after some adjustments.
3) I got it actually as an office chair, it is geared more towards gaming looks like. But the plain black aesthetic works for me.
4)It works well in many situations.

designed by non gamers it seemsCharlesi finally had it with this chair. the headrest does not lock into place, neither does the back which keeps sliding down. i am okay with the materials but not okay with the build quality. disappointing.
UncomfortableAndrewWow, this chair is uncomfortable. The material that its upholstered with is nice (I purchased the leather version), but there is very little padding anywhere on the chair. I would not recommend purchasing this chair.

Worst chair everOrhanI used it few months and just dumped it. It’s too bulky, you can’t move it, its arms are adjustable but you cant fix/lock how you adjusted, everytime you try to push yourself away from the desk and try to stand up, both arms are moving randomly to up or down,and rotate right or left. I’ve used Markus office chair from ikea for years and it’s the best. But this one was a nightmare!

Little wheels don't turn #tinaturnerAlfredI have only had this chair a few days, so I cannot speak to the long term ergonomics of the chair. The chair was easy to assemble. Aesthetically pleasing. Multiple adjustments can be made to the chair, with the exception of the rocking or leaning back. There doesn't seem to be a locking mechanism to hold the chair in one place while leaning back. For the most part, overall pleased. ONE BIG SETBACK. The wheels do not roll. They twist and they turn but rolling only results in laughter as I tip over and my family points fingers at calamity. Please in the future, make the wheels easier to roll. Sincerely, tipped over. Falling and I can't get up.
Armrests are Hard as a RockShelbyI liked this chair when sitting on it in the store, but then I brought it home and went through my normal work flow and realized that the armrests are hard plastic--completely hard plastic without any padding. They're hard as a rock and made my elbows hurt after 10 minutes of use.

hydraulic issuesBrandonWhen we first tried the chair at the store it was comfortable and my girlfriend loved it. we got it home and set it up, the hydraulic does not stay up. its brand new and the hydraulic for the chair is bad. hope we just got a bad hydraulic and its not all of them.

Excellent Work from Home ChairMicahI work from home so I spend hours in a chair each day, so I spent several days doing research about which chair I should get. I walked into Ikea to try some out and as soon as I saw this chair I liked the design, and it was very comfortable so I jumped at it (I also got the chair on sale with the Family Price for about $100 less)!
The chair is very comfortable, enough to actually fall asleep on if I wanted to. There are so many settings for locking the chair back into specific positions, the headrest has several positions, as well as the armrests. I would highly recommend this chair, it is well worth the money and comes with a 3 year warranty in case something happens along the way.
