very sci fi, but also great for curries, stews, and campouts!NickI got them for characters to use in a short film, but they're striking, and have a nice shape and material for things like rice dishes. They're comfy to hold and tilt as you eat, so if you're a stickler for manners, they might give you trouble! It's not a material you expect to be invincible, and they're a lot lighter than ceramic or glass, and even some thick plastic dishes. I'd take it camping, as it'd work both as a bowl and a plate, and have space for folding utensils in it.
Great size and shapeJohannaThe higher lip on the edges and deeper bowl than a regular plate, along with being metal, makes this a great plate for children. It could be used for food or soups. The depth and extra lip make it easy for a toddler to carry without spilling. I like the shape and size, and while I’m not that keen on metal plates, I prefer it over plastic or melamine for children.
