Very shallowElliePurchased these to match the handles for other cabinets in my house, but while they're the correct length for the holes, these are much more shallow, about a half inch, from our existing ones. The posts and handles themselves are also noticeably thinner. So not only do they not look right, but I keep whacking my hand going to grab them. Since they were used on some Ikea cabinets, thought these were it, but clearly they bought a different brand.
Even if we weren't trying to match existing hardware, the finishing on these is also noticeably subpar. We noticed that the pair I bought had all of these curved lines in it from machining, so they don't have a good smooth finish.2

AwfulRichardAhh, cabinet handles! The very last step in what is generally an arduous, exhausting project. I'd consider myself a very handy person, but my IKEA cabinet install involved multiple trips to the store, several orders for small items like Sektion feet or other hardware not recommended by the cabinet building tool, etc.
So when it came time to install these handles, I was excited to be done and to tell my wife our laundry room cabinets are finally ready for use! But alas - both handles in my 2-pack were faulty.
The first one, the hole wasn't drilled/tapped deep enough. Even with the included spacer, the hole either wasn't deep enough, or was filled with something so even with the handle tightened all the way down, the handle wiggled. This was on a 1/2" cabinet door which this product claims to work on.
The second handle, the holes weren't tapped at all so the screws didn't bite. I own almost every tool, but a tap and die set isn't one of them.
The frustration continues. 1
