Great product! Great design!MarkStrong, sturdy, collapses to a slim profile for storage… I love them! I buy two at a time. Two decades ago a bought two (in silver color!) and a few years ago I had to replace them with two more, the fabric on the rings was getting frayed. Two of em lasted nearly two decades! So why 4 out of 5 stars? The ones from two decades ago had longer handles so you could carry a full basket in each hand. I was saddened to see their replacements had very short handles making them much more difficult to carry. IKEA, you T-Rexed the handles! Fix that and they’re back to five out of five stars.

Laundry basketJenniI was Not expecting this laundry basket to be much to speak of; however, this fit nicely in my sons small apartment bedroom closet. I love That it has Velcro on the bottom to keep it in place and seems sturdy enough to withstand a lot of laundry.

Handle too shortChristinaThis is the second one we’ve had from IKEA but somewhere along the timeline, they decided that the handles should be shortened. Unfortunately they are now so short, you can no longer carry the basket with one hand. So why have handles at all?? I hope IKEA is saving a ton on manufacturing costs for making this product now useless.

Great product.. Heavily Overpriced/price jump..MichaelIt works great and works as intended, the product starts to wear out after 5-6 months. As the Velcro beneath starts to pick up things from your carpet. After a year the tag and handles start to give way. Had 2 for ages now and bought them when they were $7.99 which I’d see being the highest price I’d pay for it. It is certainly not worth the $11.99 price. They’ve increased it and it’s became annoying when pairing it alongside a big shopping haul as it becomes an unneeded product (it feels). Shame IKEA, kinda annoying.

Disappointing changeSusanI have several FYLLEN hampers, and really liked that the handles are long enough that I can carry the hamper with both handles in 1 hand. Useful when you have 2 hampers to deal with. The FYLLEN I received this time has short handles, too short to carry the hamper with 1 hand. Having 2 bad knees, and a flight of stairs to negotiate when about to do laundry, this means I need to make 2 trips rather than 1. The price has gone up; I would rather have seen it raised a bit more than this obvious cot-cutting measure of shrinking the handles. Otherwise, so far, the hamper seems to be as sturdy as the others I have.
