Care

Rattan: If placed close to a radiator or other source of heat, the material can dry out and deteriorate.

Rattan is happiest in dry, cool environments with an constant temperature.

Check regularly that all assembly fastenings/screws are properly tightened and retighten them when necessary.

LopsidedMitchLike some of the other reviewers, mine is lopsided. Specifically the brackets that hold the middle shelf are not the same height on each side, so the middle shelf is going “downhill” when the bottom shelf is level. I’m planning to just use some washers and longer bolts to lift up one side of the middle shelf, because I don’t want to see this end up in a landfill if I return it to IKEA… but I wish it would have been lined up from the start. Other than that I do really like this shelf. I wish it came with wall anchors though. The holes on the back are about 3/8” in diameter, much larger than most common drywall anchor screws. I’m planning to go to Lowe’s and buy a pack of #12 or #14 gauge drywall anchors and possibly some washers to make sure it’s secured correctly.3

Really liked this shelf, but instead of on the wall I flipped it and used it over a chest of drawers as a shelf, love the quality and sturdiness, used command strips to help keep it in place
