Better than I expected!MariI bought 3 of these... one for me and two for my daughter. She has two large dogs and a bearded dragon and within a few hours we realized the pet-stink in her home, upstairs and down, was gone! We were just amazed, and I keep saying it was the best purchase I ever made! You don't even realize it's on at the lowest speed, and speeds 2 and 3 sound like a fan, so you don't even realize it's in the room. She wants hers to stay on the stand, so she can move it wherever it's needed, but I intend to hang mine on the wall, and the instructions look so easy to do this.
So far so goodSueOnly had a few weeks, but seems to be doing the job. A person needs to vacuum or blow off the filter & front cover often to clear the dust. You’ll be surprised at how much dust it will collect.
That should be in the directions.

I bought this air purifierRaymondI bought this air purifier when it was on sale recently and liked it so much I bought another! It's a great little device for smaller spaces. I have it in the hallway next to the litter box and it pretty well neutralizes it.
Excellent Air PurifierMirjanaI am so pleased with this air purifier! I originally set this up in a bedroom for someone with allergies and it has made a huge difference in the air quality and comfort level for sleeping. The product itself is attractive, given it's function. It's quite unobtrusive and looks somewhat like a sleek stereo speaker. The simple design lends itself to be wall mounted or can be set on the floor or table top using the accompanying stand. There is a simple knob to adjust fan speed. At level one, you can not hear it running at all, level two is great if one wants a very slight white noise, and even at it's top level, it is not noisy. I purchased extra filters, but I also ask IKEA, please do not discontinue the filters if you at some time no longer carry the air purifier. I'd like to keep this one going for a long time! Giving this one an A-plus, it's made a huge difference in the quality of sleep in this room. I've now set up a second one in another bedroom.
Really works!JenniferWe cook alot of fish and bacon and it always left a lingering smell for days. Not with this product. It has reduced the smell to almost nothing immediately and within hours the smell is gone. We did buy the additional rubber filter to accomplish this, but overall we are very happy. I do leave it on the highest setting and it can be just a bit noisy, but overall it is a must have in this house!

Its quiet, easy to set up I have it on my desk because if you have Cats you dont want to put this where they can use it as a scratch pad.. The air in my place seems cleaner and fresh. Great price for this large of a Purifier.

NiceRuthI bought two of the air filters and I LOVE them. I jave one in my loving room and one in my bedroom. I live a good way away from ikea store so I hopefully can get my filters shipped to my house
Nice BUT Filter could be betterMariaIt's good for a small room but the filter is not HEPA rated and smaller particles like airborne viruses can get through. Replacement filters are on the pricier side too plus the carbon filter is a separate purchase.
If you're looking for an air purifier that can clean the air in a space to where airborne viral contaminants are controlled, you'll need one with a true HEPA or even better, ULPA rated filter.
