Driving me out of my mindEmilyThe cart is adorable and I really want it but it is driving me nuts trying to assemble it. Those cute slatted shelves are making me curse. Loudly. Every time I get the slats lined up and attached, they just fall apart like dominoes. I finally, on something like the 20th try, got bot shelves ready to attach to the frame. They fell apart. If I ever get this assembled I’ll give it the 5 stars its cuteness deserves, as long as my constant throwing if the pieces on the floor doesn’t break anything.

Stores a lot with a little spaceReneeThis rack stores quite a bit for being a small piece. Having two drawers really adds to the versatility the only drawback is that if you store heavier goods on the bottom, you need to be careful when trying to move it. The wheels are a little too flimsy to really support it-so support the cart and move it slowly so it doesn’t shift enough to break apart.

Great PieceKarenThis is the second cart I have bought. The first one is doing well at 20 years old. Sturdy and looks great for having moved back and forth across country and then some. These facts caused me to buy this second cart. Easy assembly, works best with 2 people but I managed fine by myself.
Perfect for my studio! DebraI have a small studio apartment, and I’ve been debating whether to get an island for awhile, but I’m very glad I did! This island is sturdy but very easy for one person to build. It gives me so much more prep space!
Cart JoanI like the cart, but the directions need improvement. Before each step, a picture of the specific parts needed (not just the hardware needed) should be provided. The drawings show where to put the hardware, but I had to examine each piece to see which ones to use. One of the first steps putting the shelves together was neatly impossible. Trying to match up all those dowels with the holes on the other piece of wood and get them all to stay in the holes was very time consuming.
Great Space maker/saver!JulioA friend bought this and loved how it looked. Bought it because the counter is always full even after cleaning to make space for more appliances and to hold them as well. Also great for additional prep space for foods. Only reason not 5 stars is the wood top is not sealed. Nothing a stain and sealant can't fix but do before using liquids on top or near them. Highly recommend sealing the counter top.

A Fantastic PurchaseBreanaI have a fairly small studio apartment but I've always wanted to have a kitchen island; so I have been going back and forth looking for the perfect "island" to compliment the space that I have. While this cart is NOT an island, it ended up being almost just right for my kitchen space and I treat it as a very small island. If it was maybe 2-3 inches bigger in width, it would make a perfect island for a small space but that's OK. I love this purchase - Thank you IKEA!
