Suitable for business use.

The cover is easy to keep clean as it is removable and machine washable.

This ergonomic office chair has lots of functions that allow you to easily adapt the chair to your body.

Height-adjustable seat allows you to adjust the height so that back and legs are at a 90° angle.

With automatic tilt tension, your body weight determines how much resistance the backrest offers. This counter-pressure helps you keep an active posture in your chair.

Increased stability since the tilt function is lockable when the backrest is in the upright position.

Synchronized tilt mechanism allows the chair to move with you. The backrest moves more than the seat when you lean back, so torso/hips open up. This improves circulation and keeps energy levels up.

As you recline, the synchronized tilt mechanism allows feet to stay on the floor while your gaze remains straight ahead. Your chest stretches without adding pressure on thighs, improving circulation.

The high backrest and the curved shape of the chair, provide good lower back support and prevent your back from getting tired. You sit comfortably and longer with a relaxed posture.

Armrests provide support for the upper part of your forearms and reduce strain on the back and shoulders during long meetings.

A safety function locks the castors when no one is sitting in the chair and keeps it securely in place when you stand up.

The castors are designed to provide ease of movement and maneuverability on both carpeted and hard floors as well as on uneven surfaces.

The casters are rubber coated to run smoothly on any type of floor.

Reviews

Not comfortable for a petite womanCindy H.I sat in this chair in the store and thought was pretty comfortable, but the new one I now have at home is not usable for me. If you unlock the recline function the back will recline if you put a lot of weight on it. My bodyweight is not enough to recline the back. There is a recline lock, but it only locks in the upright position. If you are very heavy, this chair would be OK for you. But if you are 120 lbs like me, it is uncomfortably upright. Maybe it would loosen over time but I can't tolerate sitting in it long enough for that to happen.1
Great office chairAyanaThis was exactly what I needed for my small office nook. It was easy enough to assemble. However, I also purchased the chair arms and I think the instructions should have been linked for when you assemble the chair from the start. Instead the arm instructions were based on an already built chair. I think it’s easier to install the arms midway while building the chair. Otherwise this office chair is great, sit comfortably, has good back support and perfect all around.5
Nice solid chair, love theDonnaNice solid chair, love the high back5
Great office chairMaureenGreat chair for working from home. Very comfortable and sturdy. Can also be raised up high so it is more comfortable for working!5
Don't buy this chair - I should have known betterRichard B.This chair is garbage. It's by far one of the better designed chairs Ikea sells, but honestly, that's not saying much. The majority of their other chairs are just not comfortable to sit in due to the armrest position, how it's designed, and other factors. This one, at least initially, seemed to feel more natural. But this was my impression from sitting in it for a whole two minutes at the store. When I started assembling it, everything went well until I go to bolt in one of the chair legs. The two holes that connect the leg to the base were covered in plastic from the manufacturer so I had to forceably insert the bolts which was annoying. The first bolt went in and secured no problem. The second one stripped out as soon as it started getting tight. The rest of the assembly went well, however. My second and biggest issue is the chair bottom is barely padded, causes pressure points in your legs, and is impossible to get comfortable sitting on. DO NOT BUY!1
excellent productJih-LihAs good as expected5
The chair is very comfortableSusanThe chair is very comfortable and does not roll out from under you- nice safety feature.5
Started out loving it, but.....Donnie S.I love this chair, however, I am now starting to have an issue with the cylinder part of it. I sit on it and it is starting to drop, so that I have to raise it up. I had the same issue with another chair that I had purchased 2 years ago. I just bought 2 of these chairs 5 months ago and and I am just waiting to see if the other chair is going to start doing the same thing. I don't want to return them, but I can't keep having to raise it back up, everytime I sit on it.2
Great for the priceevaBeware that it collects lint like crazy, my white Pomeranian likes to sit with me when I work and the chair attracts pet hair like crazy.4
Nice budget chair for denpatriceWe purchased a desk also so wanted a chair that was not gigantic & modern without breaking the bank. This chair did the trick. We also purchased arms as it just seemed incomplete without arms, but that is a personal taste. Its comfortable for home needs & again, it is not huge like so many office chairs.5
Perfect!ChristieLove this chair. Fits me well. Quality and hoping for durability.5

Pretty goodRachelOverall good in construction and quality, only downsides are the armrests are really hard (solid metal, no cushion), and the wheels are incredibly stiff—I’m worried it’ll scuff the wooden floor4
Buy itnoel u.Strong, sturdy and stable. I threw away my office chair cos it trips over for some reason. After the 3rd fall, I decided that it wasn't worth the risk. The only complain i have for the Flintan is the back support can't be controlled. You either on zero position or lean 100%. i wish there's a knob to control how much it can lean back. one point off for that. This is a $400 chair if they want to.4
Happy HusbandJCLogging serious time in his new chair!5
NiceCassandraAs expected of an office chair. Nice to learn back. I would like to see more spinal support (this does have some support, but just not enough for me since I am small. I still HV to add a pillow behind for more support - ie, the seat doesn't have to be soooo deep, but then again, I am small). Would be nicer too if the seat is still as solid, but cushier, ie, thicker padding.4
It is perfect match toMaria C.It is perfect match to my husband desk5
