Upholstery not holding upAnonymous reviewerAfter using this chair for 6 weeks, it looks like the upholstery is starting to "fail". Some of the threads seem to breaking and sticking up. The back pillow has one area where the threads are really bad. If the problem continues I will want to return it. I can't imagine how I will make that happen! I love the chair and might consider it in a different fabric. I purchased this chair and assembled it myself (76 yo female) and didn't have any major problems. Having a rubber mallet to get things to line up was helpful.

Tricky assemblyVirginiaThis is a very nice chair, a little deep even with the pillow. The last step of assembly was frustrating, hard to line up the screws and get them into holes that are not visible when you're holding the arms and body of the chair together, as you must. And then tightening the 4 bolts took a really long time with the little wrench provided. As others have noted, you'll end up rotating the chair in different positions to complete that job. But it looks nice and feels quite sturdy as if it will last a long time. The gunnard gray fabric was not the best choice---pet hair is very hard to clean off of it and I wish we had gone with the beige/brown. I would not recommend the gunnard gray, but the chair itself--yes, good purchase.

One or two inches short of evenMalcolmGood looking chairs, sturdy textured fabric and very comfortable. Easy to assemble if two people available, one to hold components in position as other locates the bolts. One chair was perfect. In second chair, the components had been cut incorrectly, so when assembled the foot of the right front leg was 1.25 inches higher than the other 3, making for a very wobbly chair! Legs themselves were identical length, and all the components lined up for easy bolting, but it seems the underlying OSB carcass had been cut on a bias. Thought about returning but managed to place front legs on a rug with additional wadding underneath carpet where short leg stood. So just be warned- QC at manufacturer may not be as it should.....
Love this chairAliciaThis chair is so comfortable and it as easy to put together. It goes great with our other living room furniture too. We did need two people to put it together.
