Good for what I neededAshleyI currently have a small salon suite and I use this shelf in front of my chair under the mirror. My clients use it to place their phones and drinks down. I also use the area to hold a few of my essential products and my business cards. It's been great this shelf can hold some weight! The assembly was fairly easy, as I have moderate experience in mounting things. I used a drill bit and plastic anchors with screws of my own to mount it and it went up in less than 20 minuets. I did have a client who brought a bottle of champagne to her appointment and slammed it on top of the shelf. It did disrupt the secureness of it from the wall. It caused the shelf to lean downwards. I just repositioned and tightened the screws. I haven't had any other issues since. Its great!

Attractive, affordable decorative shelvesWilliamI placed a couple of these shelves above the FJÄLLBO sideboard to dress up my rental kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of assembly. Although it would have been nice to get some guidance on appropriate mounting, I took one of the legs to a local hardware store to find a kit that would work. For drywall, I used plastic anchors that called for a 1/4-inch drill bit, with screws 1 1/4-inch long. 1 1/2-inch might have been better, but the shelves seem secure.

Great shelf!KelleyGreat shelf. The arm was a little bent but we fixed it. We put a hole in the center and placed a tv on it. Works great and looks just as good.
On drywall- easy installDanielaAs many other comments, missing hardware. I used drywall hooks!!!, you can get different weight limits- 15, 20, 30, 50 lb. Typically found by picture framing or picture hardware aisle. For installation, I used a level, placed it right on the center, aligned and marked the holes on the wall with same hook. Inserted the hooked in the drywall, and just like that I had two hooks ready to hang this beautiful, practical shelf!! I own many of the fjallbo series pieces, it is so easy to move, and brings that industrial/contemporary vibe. I do not place heavy objects so this works for me.

Good for the priceEmilyFirst the good: it’s a great price for a shelf so large. It looks good and was easy to put together. The cons/annoyances, the shelf does lean slightly forward. It also does not come with any hardware to affix the shelf to the wall.

Beautiful and sturdy!RosieMy boyfriend and I bought two of these shelves to put our succulents and cacti on. They were super easy to hang, look incredible, and feel very sturdy! Overall they are gorgeous and feel high quality, but cost a lot less than similar shelves on Wayfair or in stores.
Missing Items for AssemblyAnonymousI was very unimpressed with these shelves. I ordered one shelf. After unboxing, it was clear that the shelf itself arrived damage, with a corner slivered off. While annoyed at this, I didn't feel like it was worth returning over and instead fixed on my own. I went to put together the shelf today, however, and found that the shelf itself does not have the holes marked or pre-drilled for you to be able to attach the shelf to the base. I haven't completed this step yet, as I'm waiting on finding an electric screwdriver to help with this step. I also re-searched my package to see if it came with mounting screws and it looks like it doesn't. This is not mentioned in the product description at all, and is very odd to me because the instructions clearly show a step of affixing the shelf to the wall with four large mounting screws. It is frustrating that I'll have to go to my local hardware store in the middle of a pandemic to find the appropriate length screws for my wall. I normally love IKEA products, but I just found this one to miss the mark when it comes to construction, quality, and assembly. It seems like once I actually finish it off and hang it on the wall that it will look beautiful though, so that's a plus.

Nice shelf but inconsistent quality controlMattWe bought two for our bedroom and had to return one of them because it wasn't square. when I put the arms on the metal frame they sort of bobbled around and even after screwing in the side bracket the whole thing was lopsided. It's worth noting that the one that was defective was the second one I built not the first. The replacement was fine and now they are both on the wall. They are easy to assemble and look good. However, I wish they came with wall mounting screws. I used the Fixa screws I had around but they were not black so it wasn't ideal. Other than that and the inconsistent quality, they are nice shelves.
