WonderfulChristodoulosThe duvet insert is a the perfect weight and heft. I bought this for my brother who runs cold and he loves it.5
Awful Crinkly Sound - DO NOT BUYElaineI am very disappointed with this purchase. It is very light weight and makes a crinkly sound with every movement ! How you can sell such an awful product ?1
Comfortable EugeniaThe duvet is heavy, incredibly comfortable, and warm while still being breathable. I’m used to this type of duvet because I’ve always slept with natural wool or feather duvets. I paired it with a cotton duvet cover, and after a few days it became even fluffier. We have a Queen-size bed, but we chose the King-size duvet—and it was the best decision! 😄 No more fighting over the covers. 🤣5
Horrible SmellMichaelMaybe it was just my item but it came smelling horrible even after a few washes.1
Snaps aren’t good ElizabethWhy is the duvet attached with snaps that pull apart quite easily and why is it entirely incompatible with most non-ikea duvet covers? It’s a nice duvet but I had to attach loops above the snaps to use the duvet covers I wanted. Very annoying 3
Good quality LauraBeen using this for a few months now. My only complaint is that it’s extremely warm. Like we overheat every night. So if you are always cold or live somewhere cold this is for you. I need to order a lighter one. 4
Loud and crinklyIsabelSo loud :((((((1
Doesn’t Age WellChristopherI purchased this in the fall of 2022, and I
threw it out in the spring of 2026. Despite having it professionally cleaned per the product instructions, the filling eventually massed in one corner of the comforter. No amount of shaking moved it back into place. Otherwise, I loved the cotton shell and it was the perfect weight for Central Florida. 3
ConfusingKimI don’t like how they have changed the wording from down comforters to inserts! The light weight ones are a bit ridiculous! They are as thin as paper! I might show else where next time.4
Nice qualityCorinneNice insert but it is a lot warmer than what I needed. I will put away and pull it back out in winter.5
Lightweight and perfectJulieHigh quality. Easy. Affordable5
Strongly recommend!!ZhyldyzGreat quality! light and very pleasant!5
Perfect weightAnneNatural materials and sewn so filling doesn’t shift. A great choice for Spring sleeping.5
Great warmer weather duvetJuliannePerfect for non-winter seasons, just the right weight. I let the duvet sit out for a few days after removing it from its packaging, it fluffed up and had now smell.5
Cozy blanketCarolynLove the way it moves with your body big enough to cover whole body and keeps you warm5
NO CORNER TIES ruin an otherwise amazing productJesseThe materials are great for this price point, and quality of construction have held up well in the first four months of use. The flexibility of the snap system is genius. No feathers have been poking through. If there were loops or ties in the corners, I would give 5 stars easily.
All that being said, this insert is EXTREMELY frustrating to use because it all bunches up at the bottom of the bed leaving the top half of the duvet cover empty. We have to fix it every day, which is more effort than you might think. I'm considering sewing my own loops on, but in my first attempt I found the fabric incredibly difficult to get a sewing needle through the layers of fabric. I worry that I would spend ages painstakingly sewing 8 loops onto each insert only for them to not be strong enough when pulled. I would have happily paid more for the same system but with loops already sewn in. I would seriously recommend against purchasing this product as a duvet insert - not worth the trouble.2
Crazy loudRachelI find my sleep very disrupted because of the loud crinkly sounds it makes at the slightest movement. I’ve never had such a loud anything on my bed that wasn’t actually plastic. I like the lightweight warmth of it but I’m unable to use it. An ai summary seems to think it’s because of the high feather count, instead of being down, which would be quieter. Repeated washing and drying with balls didn’t help.2
Lightweight/warmMichaelAbove freezing temps , local
Ikea store recommends this for San Diego weather5
Smells awfulSusanI washed and dried as directed but the smell is awful. Going to return.1
Houston Texas in MarchMariah SoniaAbsolute life-changing sleep. I bought 100% cotton fitted sheets and I went ahead and bought this duvet insert and I have been having the best sleep of my life. Perfectly weighted and soft! My husband is a very hot sleeper so he thinks its comfy but not as life changing. I am a cold sleeper even in March and this was perfect for me! 5
