The box-stitch pattern allows air and heat to pass through giving you a comfortable sleeping climate.

A good choice if you often feel warm while sleeping.

The comforter is machine-washable at 140°F/60°C, a temperature that kills dust mites.

A little too toastyJILLI had a queen sized down comforter I bought 10 yrs ago but always felt like it was too small for the queen bed (too much exposed on sides). So I bought a king-sized fjallarnika. Love the size but miss the airiness of the down version. It doesn’t let air flow through it. So i tend to toss it off in the night only to scramble for it when i get cold again. The product is well-made, however.4

So happySierraGreat duvet at a great price. You will not get any comforter made with real feathers for anywhere close to this price. And down-alternative comforters are just not the same. That being said, I had a hard time choosing which warmth I wanted. I wanted something that gave the appearance of a fluffy and inviting bed but nothing too hot because I just moved from way north to the south and I like to sleep with a weighted blanket underneath. This duvet fit the bill. It’s not overly fluffy but fluffy enough to give off the vibe I was going for. Some reviewers mentioned that it’s noisy. I guess it could be “noisy” for some people but I don’t think it’s that bad. I had a down comforter (not from IKEA) a while back and I’m pretty sure that was “noisy” too.5
