For those doubting this - it works just fineKevinI've had my kitchen in place for six years, with an Erbacken laminate countertop over my dishwasher and this stuck to the underside. No problems at all with steam damage to the countertop. It's simple, but it works just fine. And my dishwasher is one that auto-opens the door to aid drying, so there is a fair bit of moisture released. It just works to protect the countertop.5

Useful to protect wooden countertopAnonymous reviewerI bought it to protect the countertop. The diagram showed that it need to be put covering a little of the front as well, but I was not so sure because dice the countertop had a light color, it looked odd. I wish they came with a dotted line or mark as a guideline. The dishwasher I bought came with one for free, so it was an unnecessary extra payment5
