LOVE This CouchKristenNow that our kids, we decided it was time to upgrade our couch. We knew we wanted a sectional that was comfortable and durable. We also knew that we would never go back to microfiber ever again. I looked around for a long time and finally narrowed it down to this sofa. I had some major reservations about spending this much money and having to put it together (paying this price, I feel like it should come assembled). However, I have been extremely impressed. First of all, assembly process was quite easy and only took my husband and I a few hours to put together. We’ve had the couch for four months and it has stood up well so far. We love everything about this couch. It looks clean and modern. The removable cushions and covers are fantastic. The cushions do not slide. While it is on the farmer side, it is still extremely comfortable. We love how many people can fit. I cannot say enough great things about this couch!!!!!5
Finnala couchAnonymous reviewerRecently purchased the Finnala couch, overall I love the couch and the ways I was able to configure it. What I am very unhappy about is the fact that the ottoman was discontinued.3
Awful Back CushionsLauraOur sofa is little over a year old. The shape, fabric, and base cushions are all in wonderful shape. However the back cushions don’t belong on any sofa ever! I have never experienced such a quick deterioration in couch cushions before. They are all completely flat, can’t be fluffed, and I can feel the couch frame through them. I am going to attempt to purchase 2” foam and batting to bring new life, but I am really wishing we purchased a popular modular sectional from Macy’s instead.3
I would love our sectional if only…Olayemi… the three seater didn’t slide back every time someone sits in them.
We configured our sectional to have 2 3 seaters, 1 corner seater and a chaise. It looks really nice and provides all the space we need. Just one issue - the three seaters slide back all the time.
We’ve had it for 2 months now and fixing sliding issue will make it a whole lot more satisfying.3
I love Ikea but this was a bad experienceAnonymous reviewerThe couch itself is a good price for the size and modern shape we wanted. We ordered the couch at the end of May, it arrived late June and we are still waiting for the corner seat cushion to be available. So the couch isn't completely finished yet >7 months. The previous reviews about the slouchy cushion covers is true for the top/ back cushions. It does look a little sloppy. Ikea fabric has become extremely cheap looking and rough feeling. I have the Ektorp slipcovered couch from 2014 in white and its still in amazing condition. The fabric feels way more high end than this one. I think they switched manufacturers and the downgrade in quality shows. Overall, this is a horrible time to buy furniture, if you can wait this crazy pandemic drama out, I would recommend. I'm hoping we actually get that cushion.. or our sectional won't ever be completed I guess. Customer service is always helpful once you get through to them, but it takes a long phone tree. Good Luck! I'm still waiting.1
Color description inaccurateAnonymousI've had this couch for a month now. It's definitely comfortable, however, as previous reviewers have noted, the color is very inaccurate. I ordered Tallymyra Black/Gray which looks charcoal in pictures but is actually navy blue in person. Additionally, as previous people have also said, there are some issues with fabric bunching on some of the cushions, as if the cushions covers are much too big for the cushions. Super disappointing. Also, due to Ikea's pandemic procedures, it is literally impossible to connect with customer service unless you want to cancel an order.3
comfortable but fabric color is disappointingAnonymous reviewerCouch was relatively easy to install and seems comfortable though we had it only for couple of days but we ordered Tallmyra black/medium which seemed to be black in the pictures and we had to rely on that since stores were closed when we ordered. We waited for this couch for 3 months and when finally it arrived, assembled it is so disappointing to see that it is more dark gray with blueish/green tint to it and it doesn’t go well with rest of our house and we are super bummed by it.3
DisappointingMelissaI waited for months for this sectional to come into stock at my local store. The Gunnard beige the perfect neutral solid and the size is perfect. I would have given this product a gleaming 5 star review if it were not for the terrible seat cushions. The cushion covers do not fit, they are baggy and the inner cushion feels like crunchy plastic. I waited 5 full days for the cushions to inflate and still no luck. It seems like the seat cushion covers are simply too big. It is so sad to have a brand new sofa that looks so sloppy.2
Comfy!AnonymousSofa is very comfortable and firm. The fabric seems like it will take wear and tear very well. It was pretty easy to assemble. We are disappointed in the gunnared medium gray color we ordered. Online the medium gray looks much darker and actually gray, but in person and on the sofa it's really a blue gray color looking almost like faded denim. The color we chose does not go well with anything else in the room and now that the covers are on the sofa, we'll have to order another color then basically take the sofa apart to put new color coverings on it and put it back together.5
Perfect for sectional for FamiliesVanessaGreat size sectional. We've had it for about two weeks, it feels surprisingly heavy and feels like it can take on two rambunctious kids.4
