Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Great chair, but one piece of advice...CherylThe Finnala chair is perfect for my son's dorm room! It is comfy and the flat arms are great for laying out books when studying. One word of advice: unlike other IKEA slipcovered items we own, the individual pieces of this one need to be covered BEFORE the chair is put together. It didn't take long to fix my oops, but it is not mentioned in the instruction materials for any pieces that I found.
