Rivet pins are terribleJulianInstalling the Elvarli posts for a room divider so that they were level and square was challenging but satisfying. Pressing these flimsy plastic pins into the rivets to secure these shelves to the bracket is an exercise in frustration. Usually IKEA hardware is well designed and easy to install, these flimsy *!?€*#ing rivets have been the hardest part. The pins need to be made out of something more rigid. Installing the shelves is taking longer than the posts.2

Poor retainer designMorganThe plastic rivet retainer that comes with these shelves is very difficult to install. I’ve had three of them break already. Very poor design.2

Closet Makeover in a DayAnonymousSuper easy to assemble and all done in a day. Very versitile. 7 sides, 10 drawers, 8 clothes bars, some shelves and everything is put away neatly and easily accessible. So happy :) One upgrade to the shelf would be to make it easier to move it once you have snapped it in place.5

I started using the Elvarli freestanding system a few years ago and I highly recommend it. My wardrobe gets rearranged seasonally and like the ability to switch around the shelving placement to best suit what is being displayed at the time.

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
