Nice-looking,, quality fabric slipcover--great value!JillReasonably priced slipcover as a "just in case" option in a household that includes pets, small children, or anyone likely to spill a drink or otherwise damage the existing cover. It is also machine washable!
The Ekolsund chair itself fits nicely into a casual living space & is a great chair for relaxing, reading a good book, or taking a quick nap. With the security of an extra slipcover, you can include a cup of coffee or snack with those activities knowing that if an accident occurs you can pop the slipcover in the wash.
Very comfortable for tall personElaineI found this chair in the clearance section because it did not have a cover. It was in perfect shape. It is very comfortable. I am 5 ft 9 and other family members are well over 6 ft tall. They feel this chair supports them in the back and in the length -- once reclined. I especially like the deep seat because of long legs. Most seat cushions cut off circulation because they hit mid-thigh. This chair is longer and supports the back of my legs to my knees. Although there is no lever to open the recliner, it's fairly easy to maneuver to a reclining position. I purchased a cover from IKEA for the chair and was very easy to put on.
Amazing value for the priceTogoThis is an amazing recliner for the price. It was relatively easy to put together, and the color is just lovely. Surprisingly comfy, and the mechanism works flawlessly. I'm so glad for its heavy "burlap-y" sort of material because my cat seems to be obsessed with it, and I often find him sharpening his claws. But, it still looks really good!
Comfortable reclinerVeronicaI wanted a recliner but one without the look of a typical recliner. This one fit in nicely in the smaller area I have available. Assembly was fairly easy, you just have to be patient with getting the covers on the various parts. The instructions could stand to be a little easier to understand with how the covers go on, but I was able to figure it out. The recliner is comfortable.
Love the look of this coverElizabethConsidering you have to buy the cover for the chair, i love this cover. A few other reviewers mentioned that this cover was very hard to put on but i found that there was only two spots that were a tight fit. Those were the arm corners by the floor of the chair. But really and truly these covers are great!
