Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

Ensure that you have a minimum of 2" between the top of the frame and the ceiling in order to mount the frame to the suspension rail.

Challenging to hang squarely on the wall HeatherIt was not as easy to build as I thought it would be. I had to use a hammer to get the 4th board in place. Hanging it on the wall was the hardest part. Getting it level and squared up with the others became harder with each cube I added. Getting to the adjustment screw is impossible at the height I mounted them all. I just added wedges to square them up. I would never buy them again. 3

Will not fit records or record playerAnonymousI got this to use as a record box. The dimensions seemed like it would work. But I didn't mean to get the one with a door! I installed it anyway, because it was the first step of the instructions. But when I closed the door, the like, half-inch of space that the door takes up makes the box just barely too small for the records. It also will not fit my record player on top of it. Just don't install the door, I know. I have another unit that I will use to hold the records; it will not have doors.4

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
