Cant beat the price or quality BaileyI have 1 of these in this size and 4 in the larger size and these are the best bookshelves I've ever owned. I put them all together by myself and while it took some time, I am so so happy with them. The metal and wood is better quality than any MDF bookshelf I have come across and the price is still comparable to those same wobbly MDF shelves! I also like that the shelves were metal because I have had issues in the past with other furniture where the screws go in crooked and split the MDF of the shelf. The weight capacity for each shelf is great for heavy books and I believe these shelves will outlive most of my furniture. 5

Great pantryNoahThis is used as a shelf in our kitchen for storing food. It's quite attractive and sturdy (we went for the blue shelves). I like that the shelves are metal.
We actually have the air fryer on the top shelf, which is a bit high, but it works.
On one shelf we have one of those three-tiered risers for canned goods; it is the length of the shelf, so it's a good fit.
I don't think this can be assembled by one person because the holes are not precise enough. So when trying to put the side railings together I needed a second set of hands to help keep them in place.
I used a power screwdriver for assembly; it would have been a lot of work otherwise.5

I love the look of the light wood with the white. Price is unbeatable. My sister has two in her room and they look great.5

Nice sturdy shelfMeeraThe shelf looks great, holds quite a bit especially with 11x11 storage boxes, and it's sturdy. Even with nothing on it, it didn't wobble or shake.
Assembly was relatively quick and easy, though I did have some trouble getting the pieces of the wooden frame to line up. And they did not want to stay attached. Thankfully, once I got the first screws in, it was smooth sailing from there and everything turned out level.5

It was surprising to hear that an assembled unit was nowhere in the Stoughton building. Please surprise, once assembled, this shelf fits my needs perfectly.5

No Smell. Easy-ish set upNathanI'm so thankful for the reviewer near mine who mentioned their chemical sensitivities. I have the same and only stick with real wood or things that don't have to off gas. Due to the shelves being metal, and then real wood sides/legs, there was no smell. Assembly was decent and took about an hour for me. Not too confusing. It's a perfect size next to my desk. Just note that it's open on the sides, so if you have books you'll need book ends or something similar.5
Great for chemically sensitive people!LisaI look for all metal, or solid wood shelving and products due to my chemical sensitives. This shelving unit is great size-wise for my one year downsizing purge. I've got one in the bedroom office for my work documents, and am getting another for the living room for the printer, shredder and scanner. The look is nice and light. I'm sure I'll be able to rehome the shelf once I'm done with it and moving on. For the price, it is a good value, even if only for a short time.5
Plant shelfValeskaI like the finished piece. I had a hard time starting the assembly bc holes where not sized right or aligned right. My husband took pitty watching me struggle and he threw it together quickly (thank goodness) bc I was already cussing. With some strength and ikea assembly experience you will be fine. It was the prefect height to set in front of the sliding glass door. I love it as a plant shelf. The would trim allows for push nail propagation hangers too.4
like but wobblyMariasimple minimalist clean, it leavse the wall and can topple off. can we order parts to anchor to wall, it is dangerous and cant find parts to anchor to the wall3
