Imprecision IssuesClaireI was needing a very specific dimension of table and IKEA delivered on that front vs my usual secondhand purchases. Scheduling delivery became a hassle. Then when putting the table together one of the bits that is used to tighten down a screw wouldn't fit because the hole was not drilled large enough. Then three large screws wouldn't even go in to their holes because the track for the expansion part of the table was blocking almost half the hole. I got one side to work by prying the track away from the sides and shoving in a screw before it closed but then the other side was even harder. Table still technically works but not as physically sound as it should be. 3

It's modern, and a true bright white finish with a faint wood grain showing under the paint. I use place mats, but the top seems durable. I am very satisfied with this table's appearance and function. 5

Great family table! JessicaWe got this 1 1/2 years ago in white. Our girls were 3 1/2 (twins) and 5 when we first got it and we were worried about it being white. We LOVE this table! Here we are almost 2 years later and this table has been through craft projects, marker stains, slime stains and everything in between and it has HELD UP! The stains always come out eventually and then it looks brand new. The paint is durable and wipes off so easily. It’s a great table for the holidays when everyone comes over since it extends. I searched forever for this type of table and didn’t expect to find it at IKEA, it was the only thing we got here. We love this table and are extremely happy with our choice, especially as a family of 5 with chaos and mess thrown in! 100% would buy again and if we ever get a big enough dining room we might get a second one. 5

Good table but paint chipped after less than a yearAnonymousWe’ve had this table for almost 2 years now and it’s still working relatively well. The extendable leaf part is easy to use but does get difficult to put down even now. The paint also started chipping at the edges and where the leaf meets the end approximately 7-8 months in. If you get this table, just don’t get it in white. 3

Perfect expandable table for small spaceTerriWe love our Ekedalen table for our small dining space. When we extend it, we can comfortably sit 6 adults. We especially like the fact that the legs move when expanded so no one has to straddle a leg. It took two of us a couple of hours to assemble but once it was all done, we were very pleased with the table. I highly recommend this table!5

Awesome tableWNot an easy assembly but worth it... Directions are okay but not great... must rely on TINY differences in the illustrations to orient the build... Then... near the end... one of the main screws stripped so we had to vice grip it to finish the build... NOT FUN... if you've assembled as many IKEA furniture products as we have you know what that means... All in all it's a good solid table... and storing the extra leaf INSIDE the table is a great feature... Solid end result... Nice5
