“Fläder” is the Swedish name of elderflowers, creamy yellow flowers that are in full bloom around Midsummer time in most areas around Sweden.
A warm golden yellow hue, a delicate floral aroma, pleasant elderflower notes, balanced by a refreshing hint of lemon. Inviting you to enjoy sunshine even when outside is a cold winter day.
To serve DRYCK, dilute the syrup with cold water, sparkling water, or sometimes soda to create a flavorful drink.

Caps don't keep sealLeilaLove this syrup but because I don't live near an IKEA, I stocked up with several bottles from my last trip and stored them sideways on a shelf in my pantry. Some of the unopened bottles leaked a few drops of syrup and those that leaked developed a brown substance floating in them. Later, even bottles stored upright developed the same brown substance, which resembles a vinegar or kombucha SCOBY. They expire next year, so I'm very disappointed that the caps do not hold the seal and are likely allowing oxygen in. I don't feel comfortable consuming these and I can't return them because the closest IKEA to me is over 400 miles away.
