Dont spend your money on theseMichaelI would drive out of my way just to buy these and the marzipan. Loved them. These? I almost threw them away!! No flavor, just sugar. Its a shame, it was a treat I would buy for me (and if my kids found them, I would share reluctantly). I wont bother. Ikea used to be like a little slice of Europe a good price, nice lunch, good deserts, and the tea. Now? nope. Bummer
Genuinely Awful NowHalahWe recently went to Ikea for new furniture. Our tradition was to get coffee and the original Kafferep at the cafe before going back to shopping. The old recipe was great, the texture was crisp, the flavor had a very rich blend of coconut, chocolate, and most importantly, coffee. These just suck, the internal texture less crisp, and it somehow manages to exclusively taste completely plain despite being covered in chocolate. It now has a stale, overly sweetened oat flavor. The new flavor gives the same energy as oatmeal that was made with too much water, had a cup of sugar dumped in, dried overnight, and called good. There's no more coffee flavor and there's way more sugar than there needs to be. These are just bad now. Bring back the old recipe and the original manufacturer!
Disappointed in new recipeHeatherI wanted to like these but they just aren't as good as the old ones. They taste flat and the texture is off. I won't be buying these again. It was a shame, I really enjoyed the previous recipe.

Boo, please bring it back.EileenWe would keep boxes of the old recipe in our freezer, because we LOVED them but live so far from an ikea. We tried the new version with an open mind, but the other reviews are accurate. Hollow sugar taste, missing the richness and coffee. I hope they return to the old recipe soon!
Complete flopCecilleThe old ones were so good and these are far from the same. Mostly just taste sugar and I don’t taste the chocolate at all. Also they don’t contain coffee like the old ones that gave that extra delight. Will not buy these again. Very disappointing!
Very disappointed KaterinaI recently tried the new DELIFIKA … I have to say that the old one was much tastier. The previous KAFFEREP had a richer flavor and texture. It felt more satisfying and memorable. The new one doesn’t have the same depth of taste as before. I really hope IKEA considers bringing the old recipe back, because it was definitely my favorite!
