Time consumingMeganBeautiful sturdy shelves. Terrible assembly. I read the Ikea response to another post about not including screws, holes, etc but it doesn’t make sense, it took longer to figure all this out than to build a big piece of furniture from here.2
Must buy 4 different types of screws to install -Ikea doesn't say what types!JoannaThis shelf (and the brackets they sell it with) don't come with any screws, nor instructions on which ones to buy. We figured out that 4 different types (that's right - 4!!) are needed, PLUS Ikea doesn't give any info on what types are required. So it's a guessing game that is 100% not worth it! You basically get a board (the shelf) and 2 pieces of wood (brackets) and have to figure it all out. We build our own furniture so know what we're doing, and this shelf was a challenge. I don't recommend it.1
no screws/hardware included at allDianaThis is disappointing as there are no mounting hardware or screws to attach the shelves to the brackets. There are no predrilled holes at all either so it's total crapshoot. Wish I'd known that before ordering.2

I installed a couple of these in my laundry and they look really stylish and hold a couple of jars and containers well. The wall mounting might need some expert/handyperson assistance, but otherwise highly recommend.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded.
