Sturdy storage RobertaGood looking and sturdy. Drawers hold a lot! I did go ahead and seal the wood top, as it gets really dusty in the garage, and that makes it easier to clean off- as I do pots/plants. I’m not using it as a typical work top.

Very NiceIreneOver all its a nice looking workbench. Stable and the right size. I gave it 4 star because every drawer when its closed there is gap and not totally seal shut when closed. I kind a wish you can properly shut the door well and no gaps. Other than that its a good workbench.

For $300 you can get a fully assembled industrial grade tool chest with 10 X 100 lbs soft close drawers from your local hardware store. It’s 200 lbs of steel.
This Ikea drawer unit weighs 30-40 lbs. The drawers on this product bind up if you pull them from the side. There are no ball bearings. There are exposed screw tips inside the drawers that can cut your hands or damage your tools. If you pull the drawers too hard they pop out of the unit. The sheet metal is paper thin. The top is made from soft pine. Why anyone would buy this is beyond me. There are almost 100 screws involved in assembly. It’s insane. I’ll be returning mine.

Very niceGingerI can't say it was easy to put together, but it wasn't too bad. I only needed extra hands with a couple of the steps, and I (65yo woman) put it together over 2 evenings. It is well made; drawers slide easily and seems very sturdy.
