3 people 2 hours to build only 1 unit EricThis is very flimsy metal that seems like rolled aluminum. It is not sturdy, and putting it together was a nightmare. I am not easily swayed by DIY furniture but this was a mess. The instructions are poor, the materials are very weak, and gravity is mostly what is holding it together. Instead of bolting the thing together, you slip each piece of metal into a groove. Because downward motion is what's holding it together, rotating or moving the shelf at all while building results in it all falling apart. The final project is wonky, not square, and upright but I wouldn't feel good about putting anything more than a box of tissues on it. It's also lame that it doesn't come with anti-tipping hardware. Most pieces of quality furniture do! 1
