Never again JoeRead the comments good and bad before I purchased. I thought maybe the bad reviews just got a bad batch. Still purchased anyway. I can tell you the quality is awful. It’s not worth 299. It’s maybe worth 80 bucks max. Most of the pieces were bent. The doors aren’t even when they’re closed. It’s just poor quality. If it was 50-80 I wouldn’t be so upset. But 299 is ridiculous for this. I will never buy anything garage related from ikea. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and do not buy this. It’s not worth basically 300 dollars. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because it’s still functional at the end of the day and does what I wanted it too. To ikea, yall need to take “high quality” out of the description and put a more accurate description. This thing is flimsy and cheap.

Frustrating!! KathyI have purchased several pieces of furniture from IKEA and have never had difficulty assembling any of it. Until now. These cabinets are a nightmare. We have disassembled it 3 times and still can't get it together right. There's not a single YouTube demonstrating how to do it . . . leads me to believe nobody has ever been successful. Huge regrets.

70 yo woman who has assembled many pieces, had no trouble doing myself. It took longer, but I wasn't patient to wait for extra hands.
Some reviews have negative comments about assembly; however, I agree with the others that said if the instructions are reviewed BEFORE you begin and are precisely followed (do NOT tighten connections until told to!!!), it's very logical and easy. I highlighted those important Don't Forget pictures and double-checked each step. Leveling was not difficult; again, patience is needed.

Excellent as an armoire alternativeIvanhoeI was looking for an ample armoire/storage space for my bedroom. I almost - came THIS close - to getting the Bësta, until I saw the Bror. My room is heavy on black metal (style is modern industrial), so upon seeing the Bror, and the display bins inside (one large Kuggis and several smaller ones), I knew I had found my storage unit.
Now that it is home, I love how sleek it looks. It brings a masculine feel to my room. A caveat if you get it -- do not use more than one large 14 x 21 Kuggis on every shelf. or it may not close properly. I'm not sure why only 2 of them can fit without this happening. I believe it is the sheer size of the bins. One is fine; more, doors may not shut correctly and then you stand there wondering if you bought a defective product. If you must use bins, get them a tad smaller, circa at most 13 x 13 x 13.

DO NOT BUY THISSharonIf you're reading reviews, please take my advice and save 4-6 hours of your life. This is a horribly engineered piece with a number of design flaws that is not worth purchasing. Assembly instructions are terrible. It took over four hours to put together. That does NOT include the two trips to the hardware store to find pieces to use as hinges for the doors. IKEA provides a bit of a 'magic' hinge that is a plastic piece of utter crap that is supposed to 'click' into place. It does not. Other design flaws include adjustable feet, but if you adjust them, then brackets block the doors from closing. Brilliant. Just a mess from start to finish. I intended to put two of these side by side. I'm returning the second. Words don't do this nightmare justice. Perhaps there is a Swedish word for 'poorly engineered utter piece of garbage'. Would particularly avoid if you have small children, seems prone to tipping (see adjustable feet issue above).
