Good storage bed. A classic for small apartments!SamuelI have purchased 2 of these Brimnes bed in Queen and now 1 in King. They are good bed frames but require some modifications. I wish the drawers were soft closing. First, I'm shocked that the assembly instructions are still wrong 5 years after my last purchase! The CR and CL drawer slides should not be assembled on the frame. Those go on the drawers. The gray Q slides go on the frame. 2. There is a lot of wasted space inside the frame and a LOT of unused room in the King version. A better storage design would have used some of this space, like front drawers on the king footboard. The Leroy slats are garbage. I purchased a 1.6" metal bunkie board (Za nis) and then used boards from my old queen Brimnes beds to create a proper platform. 3. The drawer handles are sharp and protrude. I replaced them with blush leather handles.4
Sturdy and well-builtRosaneI bought the set with bed and headboard. Both pieces are nice, but they don't connect, so the bed moves and any movement on the bed will make noises against the headboard.4
