A great versatile display casePaulI really love this display case. Being able to use it horizontally or vertically is a huge bonus for me. It's easy to assemble and looks great. The only issue I have is that's it's discontinued so I've had to stock up on a couple extra.
Would not suggest. Waste of money. MarcI have a lot of IKEA products. This by far has to be one of the most tedious pieces I have purchased. The mounts do not align with the template. The unit it self is heavy and bulky. Looks great in pics online but it’s not as cool as it looks

Extra room above the figure will give it enough space for the custom lights to shine down.
Acrylic seems thick and more scratch resistant than previous Ikea acrylic display cases, but it's not glass. Nice corner cut in the solid panels for lights to be wired in.
Both clear panels slides out, and can be aligned to be almost perfectly flush. It's almost because of Ikea fitment tolerances, so it's not airtight. I use clear tape to seal it.

Half template!PaulGreat concept. It is acrylic and not glass. The template is absolutely horrible. Yes the template works to lay out the four holes but the template does NOT include the size of the cabinet! Pointless if placing in tight spaces.

Story
Ready for gaming – and everything else
Today, gaming takes place whenever, on different platforms, alone or together, and in different places of the home. With BRÄNNBOLL, we wanted to create a collection of furniture and accessories for this way of gaming – with a homey feel.
Philip Dilé, who works with product development, was part of investigating gamers’ new needs. His takeaway: these products must perform well for gaming and add to the experience, but they should also blend in nicely into the home when not used for gaming. Especially when gamers and non-gamers live together and there’s a lack of space. “That’s why the possibility to change activities easily is so important! It’s about two things, design and function,” says Philip. “Flexible, movable pieces are crucial, and looks too.”
Gaming doesn’t have to be all black
Just enough features
The BRÄNNBOLL collection is meant to do different things in the home. But it’s not about stuffing products with features. The trick is to find a balance. “Like the lounge chair, again. Use it as a normal armchair or lean back comfortably for a long gaming session. And with the castors it’s easy to rearrange your space when needed,” says Marta. You don’t have to be a gamer to use and love these products. Exactly who will use them, or exactly how – we don’t really know. “And that’s the beauty! I love it when people use our products in unexpected ways.”
