As a grey prototype arrived from the factory, I secretly put on a bright blue cover and placed it in our design department. You can use the lounge chair in two ways when gaming or relaxing – with or without the seat cushion folded out.
The seat cushion retains both its shape and comfort for many matches since it’s made of durable pocket springs.
You will sit stable and steady for many years to come since the frame is made of carbon steel. You also enjoy a relaxed sitting position while gaming thanks to the angled backrest.
The castors make it easy to move the lounge chair from room to room, so you can always sit comfortably while gaming.
This cover is made from Knisa fabric in polyester, which is dope-dyed. It’s a durable material which has a soft feel.
The lounge chair is easy to keep clean and fresh since the cover can be removed and machine washed at 40°C.
The lounge chair has a clean-lined and clear design language that is easy to match with other decor.

Awesome Lounge ChairPamFirst, know that this may not fit in your car if you buy it at the store. I had to take it out of the box to fit it in the backseat of a Tesla Model 3. It is a welded metal frame, which is really nice actually because it’s solid and no assembly required. You may just want to get delivery though since it’s a big squarish frame that cannot be disassembled.
Love chairs/sofas like this with the external frame! The cushions and fabric feel really nice, much like my beloved Ikea Ektorp I used to have.
I like to lay on my back a lot and prop up my head, so I love the fold out option. It’s easy to deattach the backrest and angle it however you want. It’s also nice that the cushions aren’t far off the ground, so you can stretch out your legs while you lay down. Also comfortable as a chair, and the dark grey is super versatile with modern furniture. All the cushions have handles so I think it is meant to be taken apart
Really cool design all around. Paired nicely with the BRÄNNBOLL cart too!

Story
Ready for gaming – and everything else
Today, gaming takes place whenever, on different platforms, alone or together, and in different places of the home. With BRÄNNBOLL, we wanted to create a collection of furniture and accessories for this way of gaming – with a homey feel.
Philip Dilé, who works with product development, was part of investigating gamers’ new needs. His takeaway: these products must perform well for gaming and add to the experience, but they should also blend in nicely into the home when not used for gaming. Especially when gamers and non-gamers live together and there’s a lack of space. “That’s why the possibility to change activities easily is so important! It’s about two things, design and function,” says Philip. “Flexible, movable pieces are crucial, and looks too.”
Gaming doesn’t have to be all black
Just enough features
The BRÄNNBOLL collection is meant to do different things in the home. But it’s not about stuffing products with features. The trick is to find a balance. “Like the lounge chair, again. Use it as a normal armchair or lean back comfortably for a long gaming session. And with the castors it’s easy to rearrange your space when needed,” says Marta. You don’t have to be a gamer to use and love these products. Exactly who will use them, or exactly how – we don’t really know. “And that’s the beauty! I love it when people use our products in unexpected ways.”
