Great DIY Product with Quality and Value!MercedesI really love this product, especially if you’re looking for something made of good, durable material at an affordable price that you can assemble yourself. This is one of my favorites at IKEA!5
Looks good when complete but a pain to put together SamerLooks good when all built but needs so many extra support screws, which is both labor intensive and pretty destructive to the wall if you go another direction. I’m also a bit frustrated because the IKEA in Schaumburg forgot to give us half of our order, so I had to go back. 3
Hard working BoaxelBarbaraWe have placed Boaxel in 4 closets. It is versatile, easy to install, and, once secured, works hard. We also have other much more expensive systems in closets, and there is a difference, but Boaxel WILL get the job done!4

Perfect fit as additional storageJudithThe construction of product works for a heavier piece and fits so snugly under the shelf.5

Excellent qualityKristaCompared to many other closet systems, these are really high quality, heavy duty, and an excellent value.5
Hesitant recommendationLeanneI have installed a LOT of wire shelving units in closets. My main go to has been Elfa, but cost restraints pushed me to try out Boaxel. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how sturdy the shelf brackets were, despite their size, and the shelves themselves are super sturdy-both the wire & the solid. I loved the online planning system, too. Sure made purchasing a breeze. I also had no problem returning unused pieces, once the design changed on site. The cons: the top rail is thin and flimsy- easily bends and twists, which makes the hanging of the vertical pieces a huge challenge.sure wish they were made both wider and thicker. Also, it was really a struggle to get the verticals in the right place to place additional screws, without first assembling it all. Since I was having to use easy anchors (not all went into studs), I then had to disassemble the shelving, install anchors, then assemble again. If you’re doing a long walk of shelving, you don’t have much room for error—you have to be spot on in the installation of the vertical pieces. I’m a pretty precise person and I had to do a lot of readjusting.
Once installed, I feel fairly confident it’s a solid system. Definitely a great option for someone looking forward adjustable shelving units in a budget!4
Simple and beautifulAndreaI love it!! It is in fact really easy to design and install, and it makes a ton of difference in the space. It utilize every inch of it and makes it way more functional. Great system5

Nice looking system. Very sturdy. Not just for clothes.JimVery similar to the old Algot system. Ikea refined some things and made it less bulky.5
