Use the shelves to help installLeslieThis system is great! However, you’ll want to be strategic in how you install the verticals… After you firmly install the horizontal, install a shelf at the top and bottom of each section, which will help align everything… *then* screw in the verticals (or mark where your anchors will go). That’s going to save you a lot of headache!
Flexible and good lookingLiweiI installed this shelving set in a small closet that I use as a home office. I really like that the shelves are adjustable, which made it easy to customize the setup for my needs. I also added a rod to the bottom on one side and used S-hooks to hang backpacks and bags.
I’m a 5-foot-tall, 40-year-old woman, and I completed the installation entirely on my own without any issues. I didn’t find the installation difficult, though I chose to use my own drywall anchors for every screw.
Impossible to installAnonymous reviewerGreat looking, but the design of these shelves is very unforgiving. Instructions are not clear, and install requires a lot of handy work as opposed to simple measurement. If anything is not perfectly level or vertical, your whole setup will be shot. Tried to install with wall anchors and had to re-drill them multiple times and force the rails into place just to get them to fit together. Would not buy again.
