hard to installAnonymousit is super hard to install. hard to Attach the shelf to the bracket. the "click" button under the shelf break when I install. SAD !
Heavy & Needs Better MountingEmiliaThese shelves are too easy to knock off the brackets. Any adjustment can send them tumbling making assembly a pain. Didn't help that their weight meant they put a big dent in my drywall. Annoying to fix, but they work great once they are in place.

chipped, broken and dentedVanessaill start off by saying I have ordered many things from Ikea and will continue to do so but was disappointed in these shelves.. I'm giving 3 stars because it may have been a delivery fault but they weren't packed in the box very well.. just kind of thrown in there without the usual barrier to ensure these things don't happen...every single one was dented or chipped or broken. luckily its going in a cleaning supply closet so can hide it best I can and its not something I'm looking at all the time. suggest checking these things and the warehouse needs to take better care in packing if its on their end.

Excellent ProductClaudeThe product once assembled and installed is great but you may want to hire sometime to install. There were over 110 pieces. I found someone using Thumbtack app and he did excellent job of installing. Very satisfied.

purchase boaxel shelving unit. service was very poor in the ordering process as one can not go in and just pick up without requiring to see an ikea member to order for you. no one available to place the order for an exceedingly long time. unfortunately this has affected my entire experience with ikea.
Fantastic system, tell me to buy hardware though HelenGreat system but we need to be told to buy the screws and hardware kit. I had to make an extra trip back to Ikea for this.
Sewing Closet OrganizationBarbaraMy sewing room closet needed better organization than plastic tubs on shelves. I had an 8' closet and put in three sets of 4 drawers and 2 shelves each. Twelve large wire drawers for storage!! I found that a drawer held 3 shoebox size boxes for smaller things. It looks so nice and it is easy to find things. So much easier than heavy storage tubs I had to get down and rummage. I am 75 years old and installed it myself. I used a yardstick with blue tape to mark the measurements, drilled pilot holes, remeasured, put in wall anchors, stuck nails in to temporarily hold uprights still before putting screws in. I still have almost 2' at end for ironing board, cutting boards, etc. Love it!

Modern look. I think it’s important to know that if using with the shelving system, that you only need one set of brackets. In other words, each shelf can snap on next to each other using one bracket in common.

Boaxel system as a wholeSheriI drove quite some distance to buy this boaxel system. It looked great on the design your space on the IKEA website. Just what I needed for two walk-in closets and at a great price! I get it all home and ready to install only to find the suspension rails don’t have holes at the 16” on center spots. The system won’t line up to wall studs! And everything go together in a VERY particular way. It was a pretty good meltdown till I figured it all out.
A wood strip screwed into the studs, suspension rail screwed into that. Wood strips behind the uprights, shelving all turned the right way and good to go. Sturdy as a rock. Would I do again? Yep! Love my closets!
Has fallen/pulled away from the wall twiceJennyI have bought 4 Boaxel systems for my home. My twins have the same in their closets, one for our hallway and one in our master bathroom closet. These were super simple to install and I love the look! However, the one in the master closet has pulled away from the wall and the uprights, shelves and brackets are broken and twisted. They were installed with anchors and the correct screws for them. I'm pretty disappointed with this.
