Don't waste your money EvaDisappointed with flavour and texture. Texture is like Cardboard1
So Very DisappointingStevenMost IKEA cookies are really good, but these were absolutely inedible. So gross. It's hard to describe what they taste like, sort of like a rice cracker but in undersweetened cookie form. Yuck.1
Recipe has changedGaylethese have been my favorite cookie for years. Every time I go to IKEA I buy multiple boxes. My husband bought 5 boxes a couple of days ago and immediately knew when he brought them home that something was off when they were called “biscuits”. I opened the box, took a bite and knew they weren’t the same. They are thicker, lighter in color, not sweet and not at all crispy. I regret buying them, but who knew. I won’t buy them again.1
They changed the recipe AnonymousThey must've changed the recipe because they went from being really good to not so good tasting. I mean, maybe you'll like them if you like really hard cookies that aren't too sweet.1
The changed recipe is not good.RonnieThe former oatmeal cookie recipe had exceptionally good flavor and crispy texture. The current one has a a bitter after taste, generally unpleasant flavor and is less than crisp. It went from a favorite cookie to one I will not purchase again. Very disappointing.1
Disgusting GabrielBought two packages and they expired April 2nd 2026 and were sold in May. The flavor is netween dry oatmeal for a military survival kit to an in flavored rice cake. This is a hard pass.1
buy them every time I go to IkeaElisabethbest cookies ever!5
Wonderfully delicious 🙂JamesThese oatmeal cookies are crisp, sweet, and absolutely delicious. The oat flakes give them a wonderful texture and a homemade taste that’s both comforting and satisfying—a classic treat done right! Absolutely perfect with coffee for afternoon fika!5

Cookies!TammyThe absolute BEST cookies ever! Once you eat one, you can’t stop!5
Can’t get enough of these!LindaEvery time we visit IKEA, I look for these before checking out. You always think 5 or 6 boxes will surely be enough, but wrong again. We were in our RV on an extended trip so naturally we needed these. But now, weeks later, we’re home, still enjoying them, and once again wishing we’d bought more. And yes, they freeze well if you have the willpower to stash some away for a rainy day.5
YummyChristineA perfect treat to crave your sweet tooth. Enjoy with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. Or if you enjoy eating cookies with a tall glass of milk. Either way you won't be disappointed with these cookies. My family loves them so much that I buy 2 boxes. I also brought them to a family party and the plate was empty. Everyone thinks of IKEA for just furniture. My husband and I have to visit the restaurant and enjoy a nice meal before doing our shopping. 5

not overly oatyCyndian okay cookie/biscuit, not a great deal of oat taste. Not a bad cookie, but not a good one. My husband likes it, though.3

Function solution

Seven is a magic number

From kafferep to fika – the Swedish tradition of gathering at home to socialize, drink coffee and eat cookies has a long history. The custom came about during the 19th century and meant that the host was expected to serve exactly seven types of cookies to their guests. Fewer were considered stingy and more was seen as over the top, while seven was the perfect balance. At IKEA, we love this way of enjoying a special moment with others, no matter how many cookies are served.
