Check Online Almost 50% failure rateBrianI'm a tech professional. I solve tech problems for a living. These are not ready for sale. I bought the three pack and a single. Hours trying to get them to connect and they either fail or try to connect and fail somewhere along the process, twice, actually connecting, but them immediately dropping off. Tried multiple devices to connect to and multiple way of connecting to each, including the four press, then four more presses, to connect directly to a Zigbee dongle. After returning them, I get a message from my Dirigera hub, telling me it needs to update to be ready for all the new Matter products coming out. I check MULTIPLE times and there were no firmware updates for my hub while trying to connect these. I'm over it for now. IF they're still around in a year, maybe I'll try then or maybe there will be a new version.1
They work great in Apple Home!BrianI placed the remotes near my Apple TV during setup in the Home app and they appeared right away. Setting up the scene buttons was easy. I have one remote controlling the lights in my bedroom. Another is controlling my two matter enabled robo-vacuums. The last is conveniently mounted to side of my fridge with the built-in magnet and controls the kitchen lighting scenes. The build quality and tactile clicks of the remotes are solid. And I really like these colors. 5

Pair with Home Assistant, slow read rateJonathanThese pair fine with home assistant. I've tested it with the ZBT-2 and with an SMLIGHT sm6 antenna. The issue I have is that they're slow to report in home assistant. I also wish the light would turn on when the buttons are pressed.3
WARNING - Not Google Home compatibleRichardThe Matter-enabled BILRESA dual-button remote control is not compatible with Google Home. In attempting “Create an Automation” the button reports “Support coming soon”. How could IKEA fail so miserably in launching a product with no support for Google Home. In addition, the IKEA Home Smart app will not work with Matter devices unless a DIGERA hub is purchased, defeating the whole purpose of being a Matter-enabled device. However, as a product tester/reviewer, I have an isolated guest room with an Alexa Echo device. I was able to pair the BILRESA and set up Alexa Routines to control my TP-Link TAPO Matter-enabled lightbulbs. Once setup, I was able to turn on, then off, the lightbulbs (one task dedicated to each of the remote buttons) with the switch. In addition, using a second purchased BILRESA, I was able to set up a TP-Link Tapo Smart Power Plug to toggle it on/off with just one of the two buttons on the BILRESA.1
