New Isn't BetterReneeI have purchased several Billy bookcases over the years and have always found them to be an excellent and reliable addition to my decor and storage needs. I was disappointed to find that the espresso version is no longer made of wood but instead is MDF and film printed to look like wood. This newer version doesn't match my older shelves but also because it's not wood, the aesthetic has lost the feeling of richness and depth that they used to have. If you are looking for white bookcases, this isn't a problem, but if wood tones is more of your design vibe then you may want to consider other options.3

More door size optionsJennaI love this configuration, but I wish there were options to have doors over the top two shelves like the 31 1/2x11 3/4x93 1/4 " size. I want to use this as shoe storage in my entry way and want the middle space open for keys and other items, while having closed storage at the top. 4
