Just what we neededTimothyAfter reading some of the bad reviews, I was concerned. My first time buying from Ikea was totally positive. Great delivery people, easy for me to assemble by myself, and manual was extremely easy to comprehend. At this point, I would purchase this again.
Nice bookcases, missing anchor screwsLisaThe bookcases look good in my hallway. Like other reviewers, I expected there to be a way to connect them to each other, but they fit flush together, so it’s not that big a deal. However, all 3 are missing the long screws needed to attach the anchor brackets to the wall. Why would they not be included? And it’s clearly not an oversight because they’re not included in the materials list, even though they’re shown in the directions. Why???
3 separate book shelvesTaylorThis product is falsely advertised. It’s just 3 Billy bookshelves. No way to attach them together as it appears in the photo. I wanted one large bookcase; very disappointed.
Not as it seemsJedWe bought this “unit” expecting a nice 3 tier storage system. What we got was 3 separate pieces that do not connect. False advertising would be an understatement. The pictures and measurements would lead any reasonable person to believe you are buying a single solid piece. Any “small print” in a single section of the description is not enough to make sure it is clear that you are getting 3 separate items.

Love themCatherineWhen I initially ordered, I thought it was one piece. When I realized it was 3 bookcases, I assumed they would attach to each other. Upon putting them together, they do not attach to each other, but they look like one unit and are very good looking and sturdy! This was my error, but it worked out beautifully anyway.
Deceptive advertising CaseyI ordered this unit due to showing a one piece unit, which I was needing. However upon delivery I received 2 boxes of separate small bookcases. I realized then that they sent me the wrong things but when contacting customer service found out it is 3 separate bookcases, with nothing to attach them to each other and I would have to wait yet another week for the 3rd one to be sent. So it will take a total of almost a month to get 3 separate pieces for something advertised as 1 large 94 1/2 inch long unit. Very disappointed in ikea for this one.
