Where are the black glass tops?EricThis glass is not clear and is a solid white. It looks ridiculous on black Besta cabinets. You should bring back the black glass or offer a true clear glass with no color. That would be more universal than this glass.
Besta top panels ChristopherOk so I have the tv besta unit another smaller besta unit in family room and then the big besta unit in living room. I also have them all in gloss white love them. I have these glass top panels on them as well they are nice better than not having them. But I’ve seen pictures of the older top panels and it would be perfect with those. Ikea should bring those back for sure. But for the price of these it’s still worth having them on these units than not. But personal preference. But the reviews saying horrible that’s a bit much
White/green bests glass topAnonymous reviewerAs others have said, this has a green tint to it. We would have preferred completely clear or white, but had read reviews before we ordered and knew what we were getting. Otherwise, easy to install and has held up well so far to high use with kids and pets.

Customer after customer has given you 1 star on the appearance of this AWFUL looking green glass top. It ruins the look of the Besta. Who wants a green top on a white product? Describing it as white/green is misleading. It's very green! I wish I could upload a photo so your customers could see what this really looks like before they waste their time and money purchasing this product. If you pay attention to the reviews, almost every person complains about the green. Who at IKEA is paying attention? The old product was beautiful. PLEASE bring back the old glass tops. I know that I have 180 days to return this product. That's not the point. I would like you to get the old product back so I can buy the Besta, but I don't want to purchase it because there is no longer a white glass top panel. PLEASE IKEA. Please listen to your customers!
New glass panel different color than oldJocelynWe have a besta glass top panel from about 2017; it's clear glass with a very slight green/blue tint to it and a white bottom. When we added on to our besta unit this year I bought another glass top for the next pieces. The reviews are right; this glass is much greener than it used to be. It's also a millimeter or two thinner than the original.

When I discovered that the black glass tops were no longer available, I decided that a green-tinged clear glass could also work on my brown-black BESTA sideboard. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that what I thought was a white protective film was actually permanent! IKEA, what were you thinking?! You discontinued the black and offer no suitable replacement color?

Green color is ugly l. Please bring the white back!CarlosAs many others, decided to buy this to match a preexisting one, and realized they changed the color of the glass to light green. Why???? It is ugly. The previous “real white” was much better. The same was done with the glassvik door. I will return but would like to ask them to please bring the white color back. You can keep the light green if you want, but I am sure everyone is looking for the real white. When you put side by side it is so different.
hideousChristinaI didn't read the reviews before I purchased it (stupid) and needed the glass top to match the white one I already have. The green is ugly and looks cheap, and now I have to figure out how to make these match. I don't have an Ikea near me and had this delivered, so I don't even know how to go about returning it. Color has changedCharisseWe recently had to replace one of our white glass tops for our Besta cabinet which shattered during a move. We are dismayed to find that the new "white" glass top has a green tinge that does not match the other besta tops in our room. I can't believe they changed the color. This is very disappointing.

Bring back the previous white please!! And more door options, the nice textured blue ones are gone, the gorgeous grey ones are gone, the current selection is so very limited for a product line (Besta) that is absolutely amazing! whyyyyyy :(

It's not easy being greenRonaldFor the life of me I cannot understand why the sleek white glass top panels have been replaced with these green tinged ones. Same goes for the frosted Glassvik doors. Really disappointed (after spending a few days expanding an existing Besta set up) that items don't match the ones bought less than three years ago.
