Looks beautiful PaulaIt was fairly easy to assemble. Availability of various sizes and parts allows one to be very creative in designing the unit.
Not Full-Extension Drawers.KathleenThey’re fine, a little hard to align perfectly to other doors/drawers in the unit, but my biggest gripe is that the drawers are not full-extension. When you pull one open, 4” of the drawer stays in the unit, so you have a harder time pulling items out. I wish this was disclosed - they used to be full-extension.

Could be betterAkemiFirst time I have issues putting together an ikea furniture. The drawers were find, the problem was the structure they were going into. One of the round things that tighten the screws broke, they were made of plastic, before they were metal. And the structure it self was a little creaked so the doors and the drawers didn't align properly. We have another Bestä exactly the same, but way older and never have that problem with that one.
Hope is just one time thing and have nothing to do with the quality of the products in general. We have another Bestä to put together and we are waiting for the round part that tighten the screws that broke, they didn't have any at the store so we have to ask them to be deliver, hopefully it will come soon.

Inaccurate dimensionsAnonymous reviewerThe depth of the drawers is supposed to be 15.75 inches. I bought the STUK organizer which is 13.5 inches in depth and can’t fit it into this drawer. Also the drawer doesn’t pull out all the way, making an already narrow space narrower. I’m using this for my baby’s nursery furniture and was very meticulous about buying organizers to perfectly fit into the spaces but this inconvenience around inaccurate dimensions when online buying is already tricky is making me regret it! The installation into the frames is also not easy, and the drawers are difficult to take out if needed. The only pro is that the light walnut color is nice.
BestaJuliaLove the modularity, great for custom spaces and DIYers however the base components easily scratch, and the drawers no longer pull out fully. In addition the pressed boards have a lot of bits and pieces that fall out or are lose.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
