Change Cushion Would Be 5 StarsAllisonReiterating what other reviews have said. The cushion stains - even from water. Aesthetically lovely chair but I would never buy it again without replacement cushions being an option or better material.

Why can’t I get a replacement seat pad?JenFor $235.00 it’s truly unbelievable that I can’t purchase a replacement seat cushion. This is super comfortable, and looks great, but at the of the day, it’s still just plastic and creaks and squeaks after a few months of use. I don’t care about that though, I can live with its imperfections but I would never buy another knowing I can’t get a replacement seat cushion. IKEA, do better!
Mod swivel chairsBarryWe purchased 4 of these chairs to go with the Docksta table. So far, we are very pleased with them. They swivel well, they are sturdy, and they have a great MCM look. I hope that, with care, they last a long time.

If I had one thing to change, I'd like to have been able to purchase the cushion in a different color. Other than that, I'm pleased as punch and we get a lot of compliments on our pair.
Great but squeaks after 2 monthsAnonymous reviewerLooks great and is quite comfortable. However, after 2 months, it developed a very loud squeaking noise as you swivel or shift weight. The design of it makes it impossible to take apart so you can't isolate the issue or add lubricant to fix this issue.
Needs one specific improvementBethanyI bought two of these for my first apartment and I absolutely love the look of them. However, as other reviewers said, something needs to be done about the seat cushion. It is not machine washable, stains easily, and the stains do not come out. You cannot wash the seat cushion or buy replacements. I cannot take the cushion off because there are screws and the inner workings of the chair underneath. Although I love the look of the chairs, I never would have bought them knowing that when I accidentally spilled something, I would either need to leave the stain or buy an entirely new chair. If IKEA decided to sell replacement seat cushions or offer a different solution, this review would be very different. Until then, buyer beware and make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.

Just keep in mind that the seat cushion is custom form fitted to the chair and you cannot currently buy a replacement cushion....that would be a nice to have. Other than that, love it so far!

Great chair but needs a pad/cushion solutionErinI absolutely love how these chairs look. I bought the white/beige and they are gorgeous. However, as another reviewer said the pads move and fall out. They also stain horribly and you cannot buy replacements. The fabric or whatever it is cannot get anything on it, even just water or it will leave a mark. I came here looking for a black replacements as those would go with my decor still but I see replacement pads aren’t available. Otherwise a wonderful chair.
