Sarah started off the project by studying how people with physical limitations move, and what their needs are. “It often feels good to be able to hold on to something with your hand. That’s why we developed the wall-mounted towel rail and shower shelf. Perfect stool for larger people CherylIt is light weight, comfortable with generous contoured seat and handles for easy maneuvering. It has a wide base, so check your shower floor measurements. This adds to the stability though and provides a generous comfortable seat for anyone up to 330 lbs. I find it tight to walk around getting in and out of shower, but it grips floor great once placed without slipping. So if you can leave in place with water hitting your back you will love this stool.
It is easy to get up and down from. I have found a lot of other uses for it around the house because it is so sturdy, lightweight, and easy to move with the built in handles. I use as a bedroom chair when getting dressed, kitchen stool, garden stool, even as a tv tray in front of the sofa. There are so many uses for this wonderful stool.
My only suggestion is to offer it in a slightly higher height too as a kitchen counter stool. I love the lightweight, secure comfort it provides with its 330 lb. weight capacity.

Front legs make it too wide for my showerNotsetThis is a nice looking and sturdy shower chair disguised as a minimalist piece of furniture. I like that it has arms. Unfortunately, I failed to measure my shower before ordering it. The widely splayed front legs that make it so sturdy, also make it too wide for my shower. Since it is such a good looking stool, I kept it to use as a bench in my small bedroom as I needed a place, besides the edge of my bed, to sit and put on my socks etc. Nice looking, sturdy but I took off one star because it doesn't fit in what I consider a standard size shower.
Stylish, sturdy and reasonably priced shower chairKarenWe were looking for a shower bench with handles that didn’t cost $100. Couldn’t believe it when we found this bench by IKEA. It’s strong, sturdy and safe to use. And SO much nicer looking than the typical medical shower bench. The price is excellent. So glad we found this.

But this also made it one of my most enlightening projects. I wish BÄSINGEN will be something you can live with for a long time. Maybe you will use the products a bit less during certain periods in life, but they are always close at hand, ready to provide support.”
