More information

The small size and neat dimensions of this gateleg table makes it easy to fit also when space is limited.
You can adjust the size with the 2 folding drop-leaves and accommodate 2-4 people sitting at the table.
Curvy corners make it easy to mingle around the table – and to squeeze in even more people with additional stools.
Matches nicely with ASKHOLMEN folding chair.

Low qualityWendethDidn't hold up being outside well, but would have happily refinished it except it's never been sturdy. The foldable legs don't fit and therefore are causing problems.

Legs don’t stay in place, sides collapseKetlinI’ve bought many IKEA products over the years and usually find them well designed, but this table has been disappointing. 2 stars for the look, size flexibility, and quality of the wood. But minus 3 because the main function—staying stable when open—doesn’t work well. The legs don’t stay in place, and the sides have collapsed multiple times, making the table unreliable for regular use. A nice idea in concept, but the design needs improvement.
Not the best design/ heavyXiaoPros: Foldable, good size (for 2 seats)
Cons: heavy; pinches your fingers if you're not careful; no legroom; supporting legs do not stay in place;
I Ended up returning it for the Nammaro bistro 29x24 table. The Nammaro is of better quality, lighter, and more stable. Also, the surface feels bigger than the Askholmen's when you unfold only one side, which is how I intended to use it most of the time (27 by 27, but it feels small due to the oval shape). FYI, the Askholmen's wood is thinner and the color is darker.
askholmenM.different name, great little table
Great table!GingerThe table was easy to assemble. I love that it can be configured three ways and folds nicely for storage. We purchased this as a serving table for our patio. Exactly what I was looking for!
Great for small spacesAllisonI purchased this as I needed a new table on my balcony. It's perfect as a side table when both sides are down; just wide enough for a drink & my book. When I have friends over, the sides flip up easily. There are alot of legs, though, so it's impossible to sit more than 2 or 3 people comfortably. That's the only reason it doesn't get five stars.
Perfect for Small SpacesNiketaIt fits perfectly on our small patio with one leaf down but being versatile allows for expanding for dinners outside and folding both down make it easy to store. Love the wood and took less than 10 minutes to put together.

Lovable durable acacia
Acacia is a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood for outdoor use because of the high density of its wood fibers. For maximum protection it’s pre-treated with wood stain. By re-staining now and then you can enjoy it for many years.
