Great bath mat (floor towel...!)ReneeThis bath mat is ribbed and a bit thicker than a cotton bath towel. It is soft and thick and easy to hang over the edge of a bathtub or shower door.
It isn't exactly a rug, so it doesn't hold its shape if stepped on and can easily slide across the floor. It isn't rigid or stiff like a rug, it is more like a thick towel for stepping on after a shower or bath. It feels soft under wet feet and the cotton absorbs water! I washed it in a washer and dried in a dryer and it held its shape and didn't unravel or fray or fade. Very nice quality. I really like it a lot.5
