Great bath mat (floor towel...!)ReneeThis bath mat is ribbed and a bit thicker than a cotton bath towel. It is soft and thick and easy to hang over the edge of a bathtub or shower door.
It isn't exactly a rug, so it doesn't hold its shape if stepped on and can easily slide across the floor. It isn't rigid or stiff like a rug, it is more like a thick towel for stepping on after a shower or bath. It feels soft under wet feet and the cotton absorbs water! I washed it in a washer and dried in a dryer and it held its shape and didn't unravel or fray or fade. Very nice quality. I really like it a lot.

Very bright whiteKarenI bought this to put under my craft/sewing table to catch needles, sequins and other small items that fall off the table. The bright white allows me to see and retrieve the pieces. The ribs prevent them from rolling further and becoming hard to see. It washes easily.
